I am a licorice nut and have been eating the stuff for over 40 years. I have tried all the varieties and salt levels out there. This is VERY good licorice. Soft and with just the right amount of flavor. Not overbearing, but you know you are eating licorice. Not really salty, but again the flavor is as good as it gets. I have ordered 2 boxes and treat my self to about 1 a day or every other day. The first box was so soft it almost melted, the second box a little firmer, but still amazing. For licorice lovers (not salt lovers) this is heaven and I will continue buying this for many years. It also does not have the "greasy" feel of most australian licorices, which i find pleasant. HIGHLY recommend.

OMG buy this before they change the reipe!
I am a licorice lover that dates back to the 50’s. I have been in search for over 40 years to find the licorice my grandfather would have in his bowl every Sunday morning. Fresh and soft. Unfortunately, due to our age and commerce, everyone and their mothers have a recipe.I have tried hundreds black licorice products over the years and the search had been futile...then by chance I ran across RJ’s…Not only was this product set with a formula with a perfect balance of Glycyrrhiza glabra and other…It is pleasant to the mouth, texture, and most importantly flavor …THIS IS IT!!! I have made two purchases now and all have gone out to share this incredible experience.I am acutely aware I may be over excited about RJ’s, but be your own judge.

Consistent bite and steady flavor
Delicious, consistent licorice flavor with a nice bite. In my opinion one of the best genuine licorice sticks available. Mmmm mmm.

fresh, delicious, individually wrapped
Great licorice, individually wrapped so should stay fresh or long time. The individual pieces are larger than I expected. A half piece is big enough for me in one sitting. These are on a whole other level than Twizlers or Red Vines brands. The sweetness tastes more natural, less sugary. These are wonderful. I would order them again. They are worth the price.
