Good quality hinges
I've seen countless of YouTube videos about the MacBook Pro mid 00s, to the 2013 supposedly having the hinges faulture and people claiming, "oh do this and that and the third.". But wether you like it or not, you'll have to replace them. These hinges came in the mail fairly quickly and once installed, granted does take awhile but it was worth not hearing that horrible creaky sound. Now my Customed 2012 MacBook Pro is creak free.
