Tools needed: Screwdriver, screws, wall anchors (spray paint)Additional Purchased needed: Yes (screws, wall anchors and possibly, paint)Recommend: Not ReallyI loved the nature-inspired look of these shelf brackets, the brackets are made of metal and do resemble branches. You're going to need to screw directly into studs or use wall anchors for the weight of these brackets alone. They do not come with screws so you will need to make additional purchases. Two out of four brackets colors matched and were what I expected - a very dark brown - and the others were a matte and shiny black (see photo, one on left is shinier). I liked the look so I purchased a can of spray paint but not happy about the extra effort needed.

I really love the brackets. They look good. I did have to trim 1 end to suit the wood i had. I bought them over a year ago just knowing I wanted to use them and when I found the coat hooks on here I bought them too. Ran across some red cedar and boom. Awesomeness.

These are fantastic, I used them for a DIY home theatre shelf over our TV. I like that they have plenty of screw holes to really keep it secure. The holes are a little cramped though, you have to be careful if you use a drill. Best to drill a pilot hole and screw in by hand. They are really great for keeping to a theme, I can't say enough good things.

These brackets are very well made - easy to install - very attractive. I used these to hold up an 84" shelf to display my duck decoys. These look really nice, are sturdy and work great. Highly recommend!

These were the perfect brackets for our live edge shelves. It's always a bit tricky getting things screwed into the logs (we live in a log cabin home), but it all worked out beautifully.

I give this a 4 out of 5. These are good looking brackets and value wise are not bad. Why they wouldn't come with (3) 5/8" or (3) 1/2" screws is baffling in order to secure the bracket to the underside of the shelving. Most shelving is 5/8" to 3/4" thick. I will have to head to the hardware store to get (6) 5/8" screws for these brackets.

These are awesome brackets! So sturdy! And they look awesome with a live edge shelf! In the picture, the left bracket is in a stud and the other is in the drywall with construction grade drywall plugs. This shelf will probably outlive me! LOL

Great quality, very sturdy. Exactly what I was hoping for and looking to purchase another set. I intend on changing the wood to a live edge piece and they are easy enough to swap when I find the perfect piece of wood.

Great quality, really nice look. I recommend using screws instead of Elmer's glue. Definitely holds better.

Brackets are exactly as shown but do not come with screws- so I had to install them with regular steel screws which look crappy- the holes are also spaces so that they don't all go into the stud- but overall for the price I am pleased
