Had to tie one pair of straps together to install, but otherwise great product.
This is so nice to have with a rear-facing carseat! You must have an adjustable headrest because the strap goes under it. It works fine on the side headrest if your child is in the middle, or both on one side like we have it right now. Only thing I don't like about this is where they sewed the clip on the top strap. It has two pairs of plastic clips (like backpack clips), to secure vertically and horizontally. Each pair has one clip sewn to the strap, and one that is adjustable. The one that is sewn in place on the top has too much strap, which means (on our narrow back head rests) that it rests on the corner of the headrest and the adjustable one is loose. I had to tie it in a knot to install it. But it works, and I like it (and no one can see it anyway). The mirror is clear, and the perfect size.

Company Rectifies Defect
We've had this less than a year, installed in our car which sits outside. It was great for a while. However, recently the straps simply broke, both of them; they had disintegrated, apparently in the heat; you can just pull them apart and they turn to a sort of dust. Glad it didn't just fall off. Anyway, the straps in this way seem to be a major flaw (and safety concern). The mirror and mount seem to be pretty good, but because of the straps, I wouldn't recommend this product, unless they have starting using much better material for the straps.Update: the company contacted me and offered to refund or replace the mirror and indicated that they had started using better material for the straps. That's good customer service. I think we'll give it another shot.

Very effective baby rear seat mirror!
So I bought a similar mirror from a department store and it was completely worthless because it was not adjustable and difficult to get my baby into my view. I began my search for a new mirror to watch my new baby in the backseat. I found so many products and they all looked the same. I finally just picked one with the highest rating and mediocre price range. I ended up with this mirror and I couldn't be happier! The design of the mirror is pretty cool. The mirror rests on an arm that is easily adjusted and also stabilizes the mirror so your baby stays in full view. Some reviewers complained about this mirror obstructing their view, while driving but I didn't find this to be a problem for myself. I am guessing some consumers may not like that the mirror is not flush with the seat rest because it is designed with a slightly protruding arm that adds stability and functionality. In addition, the mirror minimizes the object of reflection slightly, similar to the rear view mirrors on the doors of your car. I found this feature very helpful because you have a complete view of your baby...head to toe and everything else in the periphery. It may be a drawback for some because it does make baby appear smaller and sometimes I have to glance at my little girl longer to see what she is doing.I am impressed with this mirror and I promise you that I am a tough critic!

Best baby mirror! Definitely buy!
This mirror is the best you can get for its purpose. It doesn't have a soft frame, but it stays in place so I'm not worried about it needing to be soft. The best thing about this mirror is how the angle of the mirror is controlled by a different system than the straps used to secure it, which allows you to attach it nice and snug so it's not going anywhere, then mess with the angle independently from the attachment straps. The first mirror I got didn't have this feature and it would not show the baby and be tight to the headrest at the same time, so it ended up wiggling all over the place. This mirror attaches to the backseat headrest firmly by using one horizontal strap and one vertical strap, both of which are adjustable. The buckles are high quality. The two strap feature really makes the mirror secure and you can synch it down as much as you want to keep it in place. The angle is changed by a ball and socket joint that allows for great control and precision. It doesn't droop or swivel involuntarily. The mirror is rounded outward slightly so you get a wider view. My one criticism is that this mirror is a bit larger than it needs to be--You definitely have to take great care when checking your blind spot because it blocks your view (as any mirror would) , but I don't think it can get much better than this!

Superior to the Britax Back Seat Mirror
At last, a car seat mirror I actually like! Three years ago, I purchased two Britax Back Seat Mirrors, which is one of the few baby items we have that I would not recommend. It kept slipping on the headrest, so I was constantly adjusting it back into position. I research pretty extensively, but at the time, the Britax was the top selling mirror on Amazon with nothing I liked more available on the market. When we upgraded to a larger vehicle in April 2015, I did not want to suffer with another Britax and was pleased to see the Greyjoy and ScooterBugg as options. I chose the Greyjoy really for no other reason than it's $8 less ($17 compared to $25).What we like:Easy to installMore secure than the BritaxMore adjustable than the BritaxGood view of the baby without blocking the rear window visibilityMinor, but the black bezel looks nicer than the gray bezel on the BritaxAll else equal, the rear window visibility is probably the key differentiator between the various products available on the market. Most that I saw on Amazon look like they extend quite a bit above the headrest. The Greyjoy extends out a little more than the Britax, which offers the greater adjustability, but it doesn't obstruct our view of the rear window.

Very good back seat mirror
I've owned 3 back seat mirrors and this is the best one so far. This Greyjoy mirror was easy to strap on to the headrest and adjust it to the position we wanted. Simply click-lock two buckles, one vertical and one horizontal, and tighten the straps. Then the mirror is attached to a rollerball type design where all you have to do is adjust the mirror up-down-left-right just like you would your rear-view mirror. So far it has held its position well and the mirror shows a clear reflection of baby. My only complaint is that it vibrates a lot during driving, especially on the freeway. -1 star
