I recently had hand surgery. My physical therapist was using these cups to assist with the swelling. So I purchased these so I could also use them at home to expedite my healing. You have to use a cream or I used cocoa butter with them so they can slide easily. But they were very helpful and I am glad I have them should I ever need them again.
