Pretty good stuff!
I'm in the process of getting another one of these.I've tried all the other humane ones, but they are very ropey, normally falling to bits within days, or just plain garbage that doesn't work. This one only broke on me when we got a very active house mouse, which was able to force its way back out (with a bloody nose!) after managing to find the tiniest space, and bent the see saw in the process. For the field mice we have it has been great.A few hints:(1) Be very careful when checking for a mouse: sometimes you can look through the window and not see the little so and so, leading to a horrible death. One of their favourite hiding places in under the see saw, and the only thing you may see is the tip of a tail if you look very hard. I would have liked to have seen a viewing window in the side too.(2) If the mice aren't going into the trap, bait it with chocolate and be very VERY sure you're cupboards are secure. We finally discovered that the muppets that put together our kitchen had not totally closed in the entire cupboards (holes in bottom, holes at back) so the mice were having a fine old time eating pasta, digestives etc. Once we emptied the cupboards the trap started being used. You can buy steel wool to block up gaps (they can't eat through it) or at a push use brillo pads (not where they can get wet!).(3) If you have one, you will soon have LOADS! Ours had increased to over 100 by the time we discovered the kitchen fitter activities in (2). The antique Irish linen inherited from Hubby's Mum also bit the dust through a hole in the back of a chest of drawers.(4) The recommendation is that you take them a mile away or they'll come back in to their young. They seem like very attentive parents (we had a spectacular full family catch of 2 adults and 5 of the cutest little baby field mice!).(5) Make sure you put the hole-side against the wall. I've also had catches putting the trap on its side with the hole at the bottom and the viewing windows looking sideways - I don't keep accidentally kicking it that way in our small kitchen.(6) I'm still sceptical about the sonic/electrical deterents - I'm waiting to see what this winter brings. Since I got the deterent in the spring there has been a dramatic decrease in numbers, but that could just be because of closing up the deli, advanced trapping, and field mice generally moving out in summer anyway. I'll update the review when I have more evidence on that one!(7) Field mice - as I've discovered - can fit through the tiniest space (e.g. UNDER the washing machine). I had to re-wash all the clothes in a drawer when I discovered ours had been using it as a lavatory, squeezing in through a gap of about 0.5 cm. As an interesting aside, field mice seem to have a toilet area (in our case cupboard and drawer). Don't put the trap in there as they won't go in and eat where they have pooed. And yes, we have cats! The mice are clever little sods who are very adept at keeping out of the way of the cats, rambling through the walls, in the roofspace and just scampering up an down the plumbing pipes to to deli in your cupboards. That said, we did have a few 'casualties' - I've never seen a cat look as smug as our 18 year old tom cat, letting out muffled meows round the (live) mouse in his mouth!Overall, this is the only humane trap I would recommend. Hopefully some of the hints will give you a starter for dealing with your uninvited guests.

Good trap. Works effectively
Was dubious at first but caught about 6 mice over the course of a month. Seems to take a bit longer to work than the tip traps but I found that the mice we caught were much happier and less panicked in here than in those type as they had more space and light etc. I tend to find that it doesn’t work the first day it’s out and sometimes takes several days. Then suddenly it has one or two mice in. I had to adjust one of the trap ramps a little as it had been constructed incorrectly. This was fairly easy to do but worth checking that it’s working correctly before using. Also, set alarms to remember to check the trap as it’s easy to forget and leaving a mouse in there for too long would be less humane than just using a regular mouse trap.

Excelleent mouse trap
A couple of weeks ago i was clearing out a basket from under the sink iIkeep plastic carrier bage in, iIsaw some had been shredded Hmmm, looked in the cupboard and saw some mouse droppings AGHHHH! got online to see what traps were available wanted to catch them live, couldn't stand the thought of getting up to a snap trap with a mouse dead with a broken neck, saw this humane trap and read some reviews and ordered it. When it arrived I was surprised how well constructed it was, as the mice enter the door shuts up behind them, very clever, there is plenty of room for Mickey, and there is a clear lid so you could se what is in there. I put a bit of shredded paper in one corner thought it would help Mickey not get stressed out, last thing I wanted was a dead mouse!I baited the trap with chocolate and peanut butter put it under the sink around 9.30pm an hour later Mickey was in paws full of peanut butter! he never flinched! he was tiny and quite cute although I didn't want him in the house. left him until the morning. I got the trap out next morning he was sat huddled in the shredded paper not stressed at all, I put the trap in a shoe box so it was dark, put it in the car and drove to a vantage point 2 miles away, it was bitter cold and blowing a gale, I found some good hedge cover and opened thr lid, he shot up the entrance passage so I put it on the ground, 15 mins later still no movement, I was freezing, I picked the trap up and gave it a good old shake he refused to budge, I put it back on the ground and gave it a sharp tap, he jumped out towards me I screamed and he disappeared into the hedgerow( no one was around to witness me freaked out by a 2 inch field mouse!)I cleaned the trap with just water I think anti-bac smells would put the mice off. baited the trap again, my husband watched me and he said ' 70% coaco chocolate, peanut butter a bed and a road trip, they are better looked after than me!'Next morning there was Minnie! so same again only once the lid was opened she shot off, MY THEY ARE QUICK!!We found they were coming in via thw mains water pipe a 1 inch gap outside we cemented in and expanding foam filled inside, that was two days ago and no sign of mice, I think this trap is brill, just a note, make sure the entrance holes are tight up to the skiring board/cupboard base and side they run around the parameter of rooms etc, i'm sure you can tell it was not so bad and i'm happy that they stand a chance where they belong in the fields!!!

Muy buen resultado
The media could not be loaded.
