Best tool ever. Did head gaskets on my jeep 3.7 and held the chains nicely.

Q: Will this hold both heads chains at the same time on 3.7 engine with sprockets bolt in place and without modifying the tool in any way?

Yes it holds both chains. I had to modify mine by drilling a hole in the center of it so it would slip over the sprocket bolt, but yes it held both chain and made it easy to keep chains aligned.

99 - 2006 4.7L Chrysler / Jeep engines this tool is recommended.
