great box to keep wires dry
extension is the length advertised, and works well to wire up our Christmas decorations in the front garden. Keeps the wires dry, enough space for the lead plus plugs in the box. just what we needed!

Delivery was great and so is the item... Sturdy box with a great safety clip that can't come undone. Inside is the 4-plug extension - and an added surprised - a timer!The inside to the top is spacious so ideal for a second slightly bigger timer for my pond pump and heater.The insert to fit the plug wire through is well made - no need to take plugs off, feed cable through and rewire - the rubberised sealing fitting slips off - put the plugs in - replace the top fitting (sturdy clips either side) - and voila! - A sturdy sealed weatherproof box for outside... It's proved itself to weather well with all the rain we've had - no fuse box switches switched off! Brilliant! Highly recommend and for the price - well worth it.

Comes with timer and fits outside plugs (the tall ones)
The item looks good and sturdy. It did not arrive on a next day service (ordered on 30th Oct and it was delivered on 2nd Nov).But I was happy to see it also includes a timer, which I didn't realise when ordering.It fits the typical outside plugs, which are a nightmare. Overall, I am happy with it, however I have not tested it, outside yet.LE: tested outside, in sun, rain and snow and it works perfectly. We are now using it with Tapo smart plugs instead of the timers.

Good Value
I fixed my box up on the wall for my extension cables in the garden. The box is strong and I used the extension in the garden as well. Good value and very happy.

Fantastic value, includes massive 8mtr 4 plug extension lead, very sturdy, easy to use, this is just fabulous value for what's included compared to other similar products. Not heavy and long extension cord makes it easy to site. Performs well in all weather's an all round winner in my opinion.

Fantastic waterproof bit of kit
First time with outdoor Christmas lights and so I purchased this piece of kit by Masterplug. Firstly, Amazon were the best price around by far. Secondly, having looked at other ‘ dry boxes’ they seemed rubbish quality compared to this one. The box itself is very sturdy and strong with plenty of room inside. You can also attach a padlock to it if you want to lock it. The rubber gromit strips ensure a tight waterproof seal around your wires too. It can be wall mounted or used flat on the ground and comes with Velcro adhesive strips inside so you can mount the 4 gang plug strip so it doesn’t move about. There’s a plug in timer included too so you can just set up and leave it instead of having to manually switch things on and off! Simple! I would highly recommend to anyone needing a weatherproof power box, especially at this time of year 👏👏
