Both my wife and I have recently discovered the joys of creating a cheeseboard. We have used a normal block of wood for this purpose but needed something a bit more inspirational. My wife also wanted something that could be used for a multitude of other purposes including serving bread, fruit, pastries and other food items.We managed to purchase this board as it ticked all of our criteria and have been impressed with it since the day we received it.Firstly, it is aesthetically beautiful to look at, with its paddle-shaped body and luxurious polished finish, that distinguishes it from its contemporaries.Secondly, it is exceptionally long at 60 cm, which is two rulers length and wide too. At its most broad point, it is 17.5 cm, so it can accommodate lots of food items.Thirdly it is ergonomically designed with a handle that makes it easy to hold, serve food and helps for portability purposes, e.g. transferring the board from kitchen to the dining room or living room, before serving guests.Fourthly, you are essentially receiving 2 board in 1, as it is reversible. I tend to find I alternate between both sides, which will hopefully increase the longevity of the board.Fifthly, a strategically placed rope allows the board to be hung on a hook, for convenience and storage purposes.Made of a specially treated Acacia wood, it is remarkably strong and comes with a 5-year guarantee, which I think it will exceed easily.Our board has taken pride of place in our kitchen and has become a focal point of it. It is a great conversation starter and so many of our family and friends have commented positively about it.To maintain it, we hand wash it only. In order to remove bacteria and germs, I have used a few drops of vinegar and then allow them to soak in before I wash with hot water. I then use some washing up liquid, and wash once again, before allowing to dry naturally.Only £ 16.49, it compared very favourably against more expensive boards, which it exceeds in terms of build, quality, finish, practicality and functionality.================================================================================================================Thanks for reading this review. Good product well made reasonable price

So pleased with these, great for cheese, meat & fruit boards. I purchased two. I would say that although I'm impressed that they were well protected in packaging there was way too much of it & not eco friendly.

It's a good size and that but looks cheaper in real life than in the photo. Still it does the job. Just wanted something a bit more rustic.

Muy bonita y decorativa por un precio muy razonable.La uso para servir mis desayunos especiales para dos personas y como tabla de quesos para mis invitados.La madera es ligera (obviamente una de madera de olivo o similar costaria el triple) y viene con un tratamiento que la hace impermeable. Ya veremos como se comporta con el tiempo, pero como mi intención es usarla para servir y no para cortar, creo que durará bastantes años.
