BerkeyComplete Light Water System,2x black purifiers ~2x PF-2 Fluoride filter~

Water quality is great had this for two months I wouldn't bother with the floride filters the black one is enough I've heard they can leave aluminum in the water the fluride filters I bought 2 but took them out found they left a weird taste in the water but the black filters are great

We LOVE our two berkeys!! We wouldn’t have it any other way! The plastic is very durable the Berkey black filters last for 10 years the whole entire unit cost about $250 a piece that’s with the filters you can’t beat it I highly recommend the clear plastic unit and have recommended it to our friends! Get one!!

I chose the BERKEY LIGHT, because of my experience with the regular SS (Stainless Steel) BERKEY. When visiting my daughter, I noticed that on several occasions, the BERKEY overflowed. The reason for this to happen was, one Person filled the top portion, and it does take a while, through gravitation, to filter the water, which in itself is good, giving the filters time, to do their intended purpose.The next person to draw filtered water, sees (in the show glass) that the filtered water level is getting low in the bottom container, and is trying to help, and fills up the top container, not knowing, that a very short time (minutes) before, the top container had been filled. Since only a short time has passed, there still was enough unfiltered water in the system. With refilling the top portion, there now is too much water in the system, and it will cause the bottom container to overflow.In buying the BERKEY LIGHT, with its see through plastic containers, you eliminate the possibilities of overfilling, because you can always clearly see the water levels, in both (top and bottom). An additional benefit is that you don't need to order the extra show glass, thus saving more money, plus, if I remember correctly, the BERKEY LIGHT is/was cheaper than the SS model.

With all of the crazy stuff in drinking water EVERYWHERE! I feel so much safer now that I filter all of our water with this beauty. Easy to set up and it filters water just fine for the two of us. Tastes pure and delicious.

excellent emergency back up,its a buy once cry once and well worth the cry lol !!!a must have,only regret was not getting one years ago...in this day and age i highly recommend and remind those whodon't have one of these Gems to get it together and smellthe coffee - Be Prepared NOT Scared !!!

Fabulous. Needed to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to set up, which took maybe 20 min to do. But after that, it's perfecto. No need for Crystal Springs, Cedar Springs deliveries, or Brita! Saves money in long run and filters can clean even nasty toxic waters (per descriptions I read online) which is more than what I need for just tap water, but it's good to know.I would say it tastes "hard" versus Reverse Osmosis water which to me tastes "soft". Vs something like Evian (which I like)...to me Evian tastes "fresh pure and clean" not quite "hard" or "soft", just in between, Dasani tastes "hard". It would be closer to Dasani but with less "mineral" taste. Tastes are individual of course, but just wanted to give folks an idea for anyone with similar tastebuds. I got used to taste after about a week
