my son loved them ,he had so much fun on xmas day with them and they arrived quickly as well

I bought this for my child for a birthday present. He was very excited and couldn't wait to play with it with his younger brother. There was the problem, although it 'works' when one of my children went to shoot at the other he found that it would make his chest panel register as being shot which makes this toy next to useless. So I wouldn't recommend that you buy this toy.

I purchased this for my sons xmas present. It is a really bad quality toy. Firstly we had real problems with inserting batteries as atleast 2 of the screw fittings were already very dubious - the female part of one was just spinning round. The actual screws are of dreadful quality. I cannot imagine they would last more than 1 or 2 battery changes. we then had a problem with one of the guns not working properly - it did not reload and flash inthe same way as the other gun did. Also one of the vest units did not flash in the same way as the other one did. Real shame as it did look like it might be good fun... I would look at something similar again but try and choose better quality. The nature of boys and guns means inevitably they might get droppped or knocked during play - I cannot see how this product would last any length of time. If you, like i did, are pondering over whether to buy this toy - don't bother, choose something else.

For the price of this toy, I would have expected some instructions that tell you when to reset, how to know if you've been hit, how to score, etc. There is none of that. An even bigger problem is figuring out how has been hit. This is what we could figure out by trial and error: the guns are not assigned to either vest and can be used interchangeably. Because of that when you fire with the gun held in front of you, both vests go off and therefore it's nearly impossible to tell who has really been hit. If you shoot from the side instead of forward facing, that seems to prevent the firer's vest from indicating they are hit. I guess that is how we will play.

Bought this for my friends two teenage sons, they had hours and hours of fun in the garden with it. Excellent buy.

good silly fun. was originally planning to buy water pistols, but these are less messy, you can use them in any weather, inside or out, even take them to the park! my kids and my husband love them!

We loved this toy and had a fantastic time playing with it all around the house and garden, with loads of range - it really works.Unfortunately, it only worked for one play... when my son picked up one of the guns the next day, it didn't work. We looked inside and found that a wire had come loose and needs soldering back in place and as we don't have a soldering iron in the house(!), we're a bit stuck!
