A Beast!!!
This is one tough reel. It feels very solid and has the strength to back up the feel. It casts ok but I use mine for pitching and flipping for these Florida donks. I've pulled several 4-5 pounders out of some really thick mats with no problem at all. My only problem with the reel is that it is a left handed reel and I use a right. That being said this reel felt so good that I've been using it anyways slowly learning how to use my non dominant hand. Ill definitely be picking up a right hand model and putting into use very soon. You cant go wrong with this reel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality reel able to handle the big ones.

Misinformation on specs and uses.
When I first read the specs on this reel I thought, "Wow, that's a big baitcaster!" The line capacity was listed as 350yds/40lb braid. That is 50 more yards of 40lb than a Daiwa Lexa 400, which is a very big baitcaster. So I bought it. Well, it wasn't true, it's actually a bass or inshore saltwater reel. It is not an offshore saltwater reel capable of catching wahoo, roosterfish, barracuda, or especially amberjack (which will destroy all but the best reels). The reel has copper and zinc gears, not all brass or all stainless steel. I have included some comparison pics, alongside a Piscifun Alijoz 300 (that holds 205yds/40lb braid), and a Camekoon GHS105 (that holds 165yds/12lb mono). The Alijoz 300 is much larger than the Blackshark, and the Camekoon is basically the same size but holding a bit less line than the Blackshark. In the video in listing it shows the actual line capacity as it is printed on the gearcase (0.30mm-190m or 0.28mm-205m). 0.28mm is generally 10lb to 12lb mono diameter. This would be the Blackshark's true line capacity. I felt I should pass this on to potential buyers that this is not a reel for offshore big game fish.

Budget level entry reel
First off no way would I use this as an ocean use reel. No where near enough line capacity, nor is it able,to hold the advertised amount. Along with that the budget drag and 5 bearings would get smoked in a heartbeat. Oh yeah, the bait clicker feature??? Where is it? Does it have it? Don’t see it! I tried reading the instructions to see if I’m overlooking something, but I see they overlooked including instructions, owners manual or such of any sort. As for freshwater- it does cast kind of decent. The spool tension and magnetic brake system is functional, not the best I’ve ever seen, better than the worst I’ve seen. Gears I suspect after a quick look around will take some abuse, just not much. So if you’re looking for a budget reel for a beginner this could be a good place to start. If you’re looking for a quality, dependable go to reel- I’d move on. This is a good beginner or back up reel, no where near a reel #1 status

Small Baitcaster Reel Best Used for Fresh Water
I would consider this an entry level Bait Caster at a reasonable price. You "could" use this for Salt Water, but after opening it up and using it in a Creek near me I will use it for Fresh Water only.It casts well and reels smooth and I like that it has an Aluminum Frame.
