Sub DOA. Sub placement oddity.
I ran the airtime setup which gave a nice balance between my three front speakers and my sub. Low stars because note I said “my sub”. The Yamaha sub was DOA so I sent the unit back. Note- apparently Yamaha uses the sub for lower mid-range frequencies so the unit must be placed in front VISIBLY facing the listener. At least that’s what the instructions show. Also can’t be in corners or next to walls as true subs can be.
