Easy to install, you don't need to use the adhesive
The tools that come with the kit are of good quality and didn't show any signs of wear after removing the four triangle slot screws. The screws came out very easy with the small screwdriver. Many of the tools aren't needed.Use the razor blade gently to remove the back of the watch. The back of the watch is plastic and bends a little as you apply pressure. It is held on with some sealant, you just have to work around the perimeter, loosen the sealant, and it will come off. It's not like trying to pop off a standard watch back. Follow the YouTube videos for disassembly details. When handling the removal and installation of the battery, BE VERY CAREFUL with the connector. It's not fragile, but the terminals are exposed, they are facing up when you remove the circuit board after removing the back. The + and - are the two little gold squares facing up. Do not use a metal tool or the metal tweezers that are in the kit to pull it out. With LiPO batteries all it takes is one quick short circuit and the battery is ruined. It may last a day, week, or a couple of months at reduced capacity, but it will not last longer than that. If you know you shorted it, you might as well throw it away and buy another one or be prepared to replace it earlier than is normal. There are a lot of negative reviews of this battery from other sellers complaining that it doesn't hold a charge, it only lasted a month, etc. I'm pretty sure they shorted the terminals and may not have realized it. It's really easy to short because the + and - are very close together. Now, use the metal tweezers to grip the connector on the new battery at the neck and bend it 90 degrees like the old one being careful not to slip and touch those two square pads. Or tape the two square pads first then remove the tape when you're done.Things you can skip. You don't need to put new adhesive tape on the battery, it's going to stay put without it. I did get about half of the old adhesive off the back of the battery connector and stuck that to the new one, but that can be skipped too because there are little posts that the terminal slides over that will hold it in place until you put it all back together, then the terminal and the battery aren't going to come loose because they are held in with pressure from the circuit board and the watch back. The battery isn't going to bounce around in the watch.

Tricky to change the battery, but this product did the job
I can think of no complaint about this product. The provided tools and a youtube video allowed me to change the battery and extend the life of the watch. It is very tricky to do, but that is not the fault of this product. a bit if a rant: Unlike the early days of rechargeable devices, the designers of most electronic products go out of their way to discourage the customer from changing the batteries by making it as difficult as possible. Younger buyers may not remember that many devices only had a button or a few screws to get bast in order to change a modular battery.
