Sprotek 145 Piece Laptop Computer PC Maintenance Tool Kit

The case is hard plastic and makes taking out and putting tools back in very hard. I almost broke half the things in either by trying to force them out of their place. The plastic that holds them wraps around too tight and can be very frustrating if you want to work fast. The quality of the tools is fairly good, the precision screwdrivers are strong enough, the knife is sharp but pay attention to the fact that the blade is removable. The 3 claws retriever and telescopic magnet are my favourite pieces in this set. I use the magnet to magnetise the screwdrivers, I find it much easier to deal with screws in this manner.The vacuum cleaner is a joke. So is the flashlight. It is made of metal and is sturdy enough, but the light it emits is so little, even a candle would do a better job. Also throw away the batteries. They were mush when I got the toolkit.The brush is good, with hard bristles. I love it.The wire cutter is not that great, it tends to bend when taking it out.All of the other tools are acceptable in quality.I would recommend sticking with smaller kits, less tools, but better quality.

The quality of MOST of the items is above what I expected for the price, I can think of little that is excluded from this kit that would be needed by the average computer enthusiast / technician.The only item of questionable quality is the big wire/cable cutter you can see in the top half of the picture, the sizes seem accurate and the cutter sharp, but there are some rough edges which suggest a low quality metal press was used to forge it. I've tested this item and it does the job well enough, but is lower quality than the rest of the kit.For the price, I have to give it a 5 out of 5 review, definitely worth the £44 I paid for it.

Working in the ICT industry, this kit has come in handy on plenty of occasions. It even has security alan key adapters for the screwdriver which is very handy if you spend a lot of time fitting projectors to brackets!As previous reviews stated, the vacuum is more of a kids toy (which is exactly what mine became) but the rest of it has proven to be most handy.

Nice collection of tools.I have not used most of them. I used a few of the tools for opening and repairing the laptop. They were all good, although a lack of a 2 mm screw bit troubled me in opening screws some parts of the laptop. I think a 2 mm screw bit is important and should be included for odd sized notebooks. One of the reviewers commented smoke out of solder iron. I do not have the use for solder iron at this stage. Although I cannot confirm this or otherwise, I would like the manufacturer to test this and replace it with a better one in the kit. If they are, we would all love to receive one free though :-)Recommended....

This is a great kit to have at your fingertips to cover most hobbyist jobs. The only gripe I can offer is that the two plastic catches that hold the 2 halves of the case together are extremely flimsy and both have broken in use. Thankfully, the handle offers the opportunity to use a simple velcro strap that wraps around the handle. Good kit, lots of tools for varying tasks, shame about the case.

This is a great tool kit for anyone who wants to build/repair/upgrade their desktop/laptop. Item came as expected, good packaging. Has a lot of tools for just about anything. Including mini vacuum and mini hammer. The vacuum is different from the one illustrated in the picture by the way.A handy little torch has already come in handy too. It's a god starter kit all in all and I am very pleased with it.

I bought this for my boyfriend as he loves taking laptops apart. The magnetic part really helps with the very small screws. The mini vaccuum was broken, however we were given a small refund so we're very happy with the product and seller. Overall I'd say this is worth the money!

This has everything any starter could want. My solder iron had smoke coming out of it but the seller promptly got it replaced and the new one doesn't smoke as much (but there is still a bit), but I think this is OK.Other than that, excellent purchase, well recodmended.
