Love these disposable ponchos. We use these when we go deer hunting and have to gut the deer after a hunt. Just pull one of these over your head and none of the blood and guts get on your clothes. You cannot believe how messy it can be dismembering a 6 point buck in your driveway, so when I found these ponchos I was thrilled. They are thick enough to avoid tearing and they are roomy too. If you have to disembowel a wild boar, white tail deer, or elk or maybe carve up a cow or two for a big hoe down, these babies will keep you nice and clean. And when you are done you can just toss them in the trash can.

Great for travel. Long plastic sleeves and a hood which kept me from getting soaked during a downpour in Alaska.

I was all set to run my 11th Boston Marathon this year and was just waiting to find out the weather (anyone who has ever run or watched the Boston Marathon knows that the temperature can be anywhere from 40 to 80 degrees this time of year, and as you know, "April showers..!) A few days before the marathon the forecast was not looking good--100% chance of heavy rain and wind gusts all day!! On the Thursday before the Monday marathon I searched Amazon for a light-weight poncho to keep me dry. I ordered the 5 pack at a great price, one for me, 2 for my running partners, and 2 for my family as they cheered us on. I was hoping Amazon Prime 2 day shipping would come through. They were expected to arrive Saturday, but didn't arrive until Sunday, which was fine because it was the day before the marathon. The 3 of us wore our ponchos the entire 26.2 miles and they were great. Even though they were light-weight, they did not rip at all. The best feature was the hood witih the drawstring that I kept tied tight the entire time. These ponchos were a life saver in the heavy rain and strong winds. They did the job and kept us dry!!!

The poncho works great as a rainy day backup for our outings. They are thicker than another brand I bought last time and I like that they are clear.The seller is so nice. Amazon warehouse messed up and only sent me a single poncho instead of a 5 pack (a few people gave them 1 star because of this but it probably Amazon warehouse shipment mistake). I was going to return and get my money back but the seller also reached out and asked if I had received and was happy with the product. When I told her my issue with the wrong quantity, she promptly sent me a new pack of 5. And very clearly updated me throughout the process and checked back again to verify that I receive the replacement pack.

I bought these ponchos because we were heading to Disney World in June and I know all about the afternoon storms in Florida. These were small enough to fit in your pocket and strong enough to withstand the rain. I'm 5'2" and they came down to my mid-calf. They were easy to open, unlike the thinner ones that seemed to stick together easily. I like the hood. It has a string to tighten around your head. Great purchase!! Will buy again once I use up all 5 of these.

We had torrential downpours in the morning but I stayed completely dry with this poncho. My shoes were soaked byt I was very impressed how well this held up. The tie around the face was also helpful in the wind. I do wish it was a bit thicker but we put them on and off a few times and they never tore.10/10 would get again for a theme park day!

This is my third or fourth time ordering these over the past 2 years because they work great! They're small and lightweight, and I always carry one in my hiking backpack. The drawstring keeps the hood up even when it's windy and they're large enough to fit over myself and my osprey backpack. They do add a bit of warmth too which is nice when the rain is cold yet, I've never felt over heated from wearing the poncho while hiking either. The most I've reused a single poncho is for 3 different day hikes, however, they're so affordable I don't feel bad discarding for a new one either. Overall I highly recommend, especially for hikers!
