OxfordUnisex's Rainseal Over Pants XL-Black

Poor stitching on the cuffs, terrible zips on the legs.
I bought my original suit in January 2015. It's now October and I'm on my third suit, the previous two replaced rapidly by BDLA Motorbike Accessories so full marks to them. The first two suits failed in the same place - the cuffs. The stitching simply isn't up to the job. Suit number one had the cuff strap pull off completely on the second use. I didn't pull on it particularly hard, certainly no harder than my previous Alpinestars suit which lasted nearly 4 years of abuse. The second suit the stitching around the cuff disintegrated after the third use as I was stretching the elastic over my gloves. Again, I wasn't being particularly forceful. I was offered a refund or a replacement but I chose to try one more time. This time I'm being exceedingly careful when pulling the cuffs over the gloves and doing up the cuff strap. If it fails again I'll update here and return it for a refund.I ride most days for around 5 hours. The suit copes well with the wet stuff. My last outing it was raining cats and dogs all day and there was no water ingress. It's also good as an extra layer for warmth and the high collar is also good at stopping wind going up under the helmet chin bar, reducing noise. The pockets are well placed and have easy access. The belt strap adds a feeling of security and stops the main body of the suit billowing around. Getting the legs over the boots is a bit of a pain though. The gusset gets caught extremely easily in the fine zip and gets very frustrating. The main zip running diagonally up the body is a different matter and is easy to run up and down without too much trouble. If it wasn't for the poor stitching on the cuffs this would be a five-star suit - what a shame.*UPDATE* Ok, having lived with the suit for a while now I'm on the verge of chucking it in the bin. Firstly I cut off the velcro tabs on the sleeves because the stitches are too fine and the suit is too thin resulting in ripped cuffs. The elastic alone is enough to secure the cuff - the tabs aren't needed. I stitched up the tears and left it at that. The most annoying factor are the leg zippers. The zips are a nightmare for biting the gusset, despite my best efforts. I'm forever pulling out the caught material and I'm not kidding when I say it can take up to 5 minutes to zip up the legs over your boots. It's so frustrating. This is not a suit if you're needing to put it on in a hurry. Sorry, can't recommend this at all.

Very short in the leg :-(
For the larger sizes, if your built like a tellytubby, fat with stumpy legs, this may fit you, but they are VERY short in the leg.So what is the issue with a longer leg on the product??? It will fit more people, and the shorter people will just have a slightly longer let that can be hidden/rolled up. But for taller people, noooo, descrimination as all ways, we have to get wet legs.I even bought a size larger to get a longer leg, and its still half way up my lower leg, stops at the same point as the boot starts!
