I’ve had these socks for a few months now. They are thick, soft, all-cotton, knee length socks. Hold a sock up to the light and stretch it and light won’t shine through the weave. The foot part of the sock is very thick but the leg part while not as thick is still very warm. Not like the cheap thin socks you find. They wash well. After twenty or so washings there is no pilling. I wash them with dark colors inside out in the washing machine on cold water. Don’t wash these socks with towels please in case you never learned how to do your laundry.The only downside is that some people could find the socks too thick so it makes your shoes tight. I don’t find this a problem. To me they are a godsend and the perfect sock for someone with cold feet. If you tend to sweat at night, the cotton absorbs water and keeps your feet warm and dry.

Love these socks! They go up to my knees perfectly, and they stay up. They are nice and thick, but I can still wear my shoes comfortably. They keep my legs warm when I wear them with my thick skirt during these freezing midwestern days.

To be fair, I’m 5’7” but these socks don’t come up to my knees and they slide down. Very thick and warm and good quality.

I was not expecting these to feel as comfortable as they do. AND...they are not making my feet too hot. They are a little thick for some of my shoes, but that's OK with me. Most of the time I know I will be really happy with these.They come up just below my knee which is just perfect. I get sock of having regular socks slide down so that there is bare skin between the top of the sock and my pant leg. I just get so frustrated with trying to find nice socks. Well, these are it!They are not too tight over my calves, and they stay up just great below my knees. THANKS AMAZON for offering these.

These socks have many good qualities: they are thick, warm, and soft. They also do fine being washed and dried. My biggest complaints are that they don't come up as high as most knee socks and as a result tend to fall down over the course of the day. I find this very annoying. I wear these with ankle boots and not only do they fall down but they slip down inside the boot so they're hard to pull up.

Not overly thick but very warm. Perfect thickness so shoes aren't too tight. Very warm and cozy. Have washed several times and haven't noticed any fading. Not too tight either. Wish they came in more colors. I'd buy several pairs if they had a variety of colors

These socks are nice. They are thick and soft. The problem is that rather than four pairs, I received 3.5 pairs. A sock is missing.Update: Upgraded to 5 stars. Spoke with Amazon customer service. They will send out another package of socks, hopefully with 4 complete pairs.

Are very warm and the top elastic is just right. Hold the socks up, but doesn’t constrict. Would love more colors – white, red, pink, green.
