It’s simple and functional
I purchased this to reconstitute freeze dried food for lunch. It’s pretty much as advertised, it’s easy to clean, the lid fits nicely (but it’s not a sealed lid), and the handle doesn’t get hot even when filled with boiling water. It does what I want, it’s durable, easy to clean, and reasonably priced.

Perfect for Leafside
What a great little container this is. I use it to prepare Leafside dehydrated plant-based meals. You have to add 1.5 or 2 cups of boiling water then let that sit ten minutes with the tight seal on. The vacuum mini-lid allows you to get the lid on and off in spite of the vacuum that's created by heat. So I can serve 2-3 people from this container, and it fits in my lunchbox and in the fridge. It comes clean so easily by hand or in the dishwasher. This is also great to take camping or traveling since I never know if I'll be able to find vegan food. I can put my oatmeal, nuts, and dried fruit in there and just add the boiling water in a hotel room.

Stainless steel 18/8
Item good and easy to use . In order says it’s stainless steel 18/8 but it’s not on the bowl.I have a lot of stainless steel18/10 and I can see that number. Because that’s proof for stainless steel.

Container Okay - Lid Not So Great
I bought this because it was recommended by Leafside Foods. It does look like the picture on the Amazon website, but it doesn't look like the picture on the box. Also, most of the text printed on the box is what I assume is Chinese since this product is made in China. It doesn't have any instructions - maybe some are printed on the box but I can't read them. I'd really like to know about the numbers and dial on the sealing valve on the lid.The container itself is a very thin metal but so far it seems to work okay. Just make sure to use the handle since it gets very hot. My one concern is that the handle looks like it might fall off at some point in the future. The lid, however, is a problem. When I put boiling water in the container and then put on the lid, I have to periodically press the lid down because the steam from the water lifts it up. It is advertised as being non-leak but if the lid keeps lifting off the container it isn't very non-leak.Overall, the size is perfect, this works for the application I need it for, and it is relatively cheap so I'm going to keep it. However, I will continue to look for another container with a better lid.

Perfect for LeafSide Meals
Bought this for my LeafSide meals and it works incredibly well. I can bring it to work and just use the hot water tap from the coffee machine. 10min later and I have a hot meal ready to eat. At home I use my electric tea kettle and it’s very easy. For those not quite up to speed on material science, do not expose the lid to direct heat. It is plastic—it will melt.I highly recommend this product for all the LeafSide people out there and I’m sure it’ll be great for everyone else as well.

From Stove to Table
This is a nice bowl that I can use to cook noodles on a gas stove and then eat directly from it. On my last photo, it shows how the bottom of the bowl looks like after cooking with it one time, there’s not much difference from when I first received the bowl so it seems well made for the purpose that I use it for.The lid is plastic so I wouldn’t cover it over the bowl when I’m cooking with it. But the lid is useful for covering the bowl when you want to store leftovers or bring the food that you cooked in it for a work lunch. The handle does get hot so I used gloves to transfer the bowl of noodles onto the table. But after about 10-20 seconds I could hold the handle to lift the bowl up to eat the ramen noodles. For the price, I think it’s a nice stainless steel bowl to have.***For people wondering what are the numbers and the dial on the lid, it’s the date code so you can turn the dial facing the number that is the day that you stored your food. When you look through your fridge, you can determine if you can still eat or toss your food. Hope that info helps.

I have concerns about this product
I ordered this because it was recommended for Leafside foods. The description says stainless steel and BPA Free. When I received it, the box had absolutely no English, no instructions and no markings anywhere on the product itself. Given that the lid is plastic and I don’t know if it’s actually BPA free or not, I question the safety of letting food steam in hot water for 10 minutes. If it’s not BPA free then toxins can leach into the food. Moreover, the product looks nothing like the product on the box and nowhere on the box does it say Mirenlife, the name of the company. This is going back. I will look for a product that is guaranteed to be safe and has the appropriate labels.
