The shovel I never knew I needed
I bought the longer handled one to avoid my back hurting. The blade is narrow and sharp, cuts through grass easily. Used it also this summer, so far so good .

Nothing better for digging big holes
I have the other 2 sizes of the SpearHead spade and have been enthusiastically recommending them to all gardeners. I have a lot of trees to plant and wanted something with more leverage than the other model so I ordered the long handled spade. I was not disappointed when I dug that first hole. It slices through soil like it was butter and I can leverage the soil out of the hole using better body ergonomics. Love it.

Perfect for Digging through Clay
Our ground is not dirt, it's clay and is basically like trying to dig into cement. Granted, this year we've had more rain than usual so the ground is easier to work with but, this shovel really cuts through the clay. Highly recommend!
