I tried this one as a foray into home automation as this can be used where either a neutral line is available or not at the switch. I have both options as original part of the house there is no neutral at the switch, but the extension has the loop circuit via the switch boxes and not ceiling roses.Installation was easy enough, except had to use 10mm spacer to fit in slim switch boxes. The slots for the screws are a little soft and so if screw head a little small, it gets pulled through and enlarges the slot at that point.We have 2 Alexa accounts so had to link both to the Tuya account for voice control regardless of which account dot is using, could not find any documentation that said that was allowed and so had to suck it and see.

Initial review - Not fit for purpose because we could not link it to the network, however we paired it using an extender and now it works perfectly without using the extender anymore. A bit of hassle but quite a saving.Also you must use the supplied capacitor across the switched live & neutral in the light circuit, if you don't understand that then get an electrician.

I am sure this product works well but I was unable to connect it to my wifi hub which in turn stopped me connecting it to Alexa, so reluctantly returned product to amazon.

Wired switch with no neutral and put capacitor across neutral to LED driver and switched live wireand works great.

Instruction are ridiculously small but other than that… it is a great product

Seems to be an excellent device, BUT It would be very usefull if the INSTRUCTION were im a more radable format , not rquiring a magnifying glass to read?Or even availble to download.Have now recieved an enlarged format Instruction leaflet, Thanks, BUT!The 'Screen Shots' bear no resemblace to the actual APP?

I got this to review on the Vine program and honestly I thought it was so good I bought another which, is testament to how good this is. Really.First off the design is sleek and modern so will fit in with most new houses. Of course, design is in the eye of the beholder but I think this is quite good to look at.However, non of that would matter if this was rubbish - which it most certainly isn't. And that's because not only does it work seamlessly with Alexa and of course it's own app, it offers a couple of benefits over some other smart home switches.It has it's own integrated on/off touch button so you can use this as a normal switch - which in my case is ideal as I use one each side of the bed for lighting and as the peeps start to close, I don't really want to have to faff around with an app.Next and most importantly it works with the modern way house lighting is wired with a neutral return as well as the old fashioned way by simply installing a provided capacitor as I did on my work bench to test it all out before fitting. Something I prefer to do with smart home devices to save me the aggro of working out the wrinkles before doing the job.You will need a deep back box to fit this as there is quite a large amount of controls behind the facia plate so if you have an older house where the wiring was fitted with shallow back boxes then you will need to factor in some replacements there.The app works brilliantly and the integration with Alexa is perfect from the off.Really, nothing to dislike.
