I use it for a DeWalt laser level. It works fine, but it's kind of flimsy. I also don't like that it doesn't have a level where the mount is. Doesn't do me any good to only have a level on the tripod part.

Thus is an extremely lightweight tripod. It weighs less than a pound and a quarter. It is not much to carry at all. It would be way too light to use with my camera. The one I use for that weighs about ten pounds. But for a laser level this should work just fine. It is well made. The legs adjust very easily. The detachable plate can go in four different orientations. I mounted the heaviest level I have on it. It did take a few seconds to stabilize. But then it was solid until I bumped one of the legs. Yes that was intentional, with two fingers. Because it is so light don’t use it out in the wind. It would easily blow over. Oh, and that tiny little useless looking bubble level actually works. At that price, go for it.

This is a great little tripod and it is lightweight. Not just lightweight, super lightweight. This tripod isn't going to be stable enough or durable enough for professional use, but it is a great unit to have for the occasional photographer who needs one. It is also plenty stable for a laser level transmitter. The legs are easy to extend and retract. The clips hold them firmly. The head locks in nicely, adjusts up and down, and is easy to manipulate to the right spot. This tripod also has a bubble level to help you with the setup. It comes with a nylon drawstring bag. It is borderline quality, but any storage bag is better than nothing. All in all, this is a nice little economical tripod.
