JOYOJF-323 Wooden Sound Acoustic Simulator - Guitar Effects Pedal Ironman, Brown

I really like this pedal. I bought it, rather than other brands, based on internet reviews and youtube (they weren't all saying it was the best - but it always seemed to do well at the very least). I can't compare it to any other acoustic simulator pedal as it's the only one I've tried. However for strumming open and bar chords it's great (the reason I bought it - and one of it's strengths over rivals according to several reviews). It really calms everything down with a nice tone. I have used it with humbuckers and open coils, through a Marshall Valve Amp (JTM60) and heavily modified Epiphone Valve Junior with 2 x12 Marshall JTM cab, and it always sounds good. I have found it to be completely noise/hiss free. It is very small but seems well made of metal (plastic dials).

Its generally a good pedal and works great with my Vox Nightrain. BUT I've don't use it in practice studios because it hisses and feeds with Marshall/Orange etc amps.

Lovely woody sound on lead guitars even better on electro acoustic guitar. Very much impressed, my mate has just bought one for his fretless bass.

While you won't fool anyone into thinking you have a real it does have a nice fuller sound and lots of character I really love it

It does have a good 'wooden' acoustic sound - better than the acoustic simulator in the Boss GT-1 multi-effects unit. But it creates a lot of noise (hiss). This OK if you're practicing at low volumes at home, but not when playing more loudly. If you don't have an acoustic guitar and want to use it at home, then get it. I wouldn't turn up the amp though. I stopped using it in favour of the Boss GT-1.

Great little pedal - does what it says on the box! Good value for money.

Small footprint, looks good great packing but I think really it’s a toy it’s now back in the box in storage gathering dust, bit of fun but limited, couldn’t use at a gig, just experimenting but not for me

Didn't really create much of acoustic sound at all. I also use the Zoom G1on and the acoustic simulator on that is much better

I was looking for a simple acoustic simulator stompbox without all the bells and whistles of, let's say, a Boss AC-3.This little thing delivers plenty. Simple controls, little real estate footprint and entirely noiseless.It will transform the output from a decent single coil axe - stay away from humbuckers, just saying - into a fairly convincing acoustic sound. It also adds some dimension to a cheap acoustic so, win win...

Pour une utilisation live, pour éviter de trimbaler aussi la guitare électro-acoustique, juste une ou deux chansons, cette petite Joyo fait le job et même mieux que deux de ses concurrentes. Les réglages sont assez efficaces, le rendu sonore est assez chouette avec une vraie impression de boisée qui, toutefois, est un peu moins vrai dans la sono qu'en sortie de l'ampli. Bien prendre le temps de la régler. Pour ma part, elle fonctionne mieux avec le micro chevalet de ma PRS non splittée. Elle reste toutefois une simulation, une utilisation studio est proscrite. Je mets 4 étoiles sur 5 car le rapport qualité/prix est très bon. Mais je n'aurais mis que 3 étoiles si j'avais simplement pris en compte ce à quoi elle est destinée, donc simulée une guitare électro-acoustique.
