UPDAT: It was very frustrating that every single piece has to be put together and took 3 hours to put together, the instructions are very easy to follow. BUT this piece is absolutely beautiful and extremely sturdy and heavy. The drawers have roller and it rolls very nicely. For a piece of furniture that has to be built and is not real wood, you would never know it! The only part that is cheap are the bottoms of the drawers, just kinda thin. It is boxed so nice and securely, it would take a lot for it to get damaged in transit.I am giving this a 3 just because EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF IT HAS TO BE PUT TOGETHER! When it. Said assembly required. , I expected a lot but not this much. Quality for the price is ok I guess for the price.I give customer service a 5 star. I have to say that customer service is great! Very prompt return with my message and did offer a small compensation for the trouble. Just be aware that you cannot return it without paying for shipping. Again, can’t say enough good about their customer service

Most items I purchase on Amazon are given as gifts to others, so writing a review of an item with which I have no experience is not appropriate.This nightstand is to be given to someone as well, but because I was the person assembling, I believe I am qualified to write the review.This nightstand was a great purchase, if for no other reason than the great engineering which made the assembly incredibly easy, logical, and satisfying. The parts were packaged well and efficiently to prevent damage. The direction booklet was nearly 100% pictorial. The labeled parts list was complete, and the corresponding labeled parts were numbered to match the assembly sequence. The assembly drawings were detailed, accurate, and clear. The process was well depicted by the drawings. The predrilled holes, etc. were precise. All pieces fit together snuggly.Despite my initial concern regarding the particle board, the nightstand is weighty, stable, and sturdy. I love the design, the appearance, and the utility.I have encountered several "assembly required" items over the years. This met my gold standard rating. Assembly has never been better.One short written direction identifies the need for the glue tube provided. The direction suggests that a little glue should be put on each end off each stabilizing dowel. "A little' is subjective, and I ran out far before completion. In a kit which also included a spare parts bag with one extra item for each set of screws, dowels, etc., I recommend that an additional glue tube also be included.I cannot speak to long term durability, but I can say that my confidence level for this product is much higher than many past "assembly required" ventures.

I bought two of these during Prime days. Good price but the assembly was very tedious and somewhat difficult. Typical Chinese furniture product, the manufacture, shipment and assembly instructions were excellent. It’s a cheap but solid chipboard product with a thin veneer that looks good. But the assembly requires a ridiculous number of ikea style screw and barrel locks as well as wood dowels. They supply a small tube of glue for a drop to secure the dowels but it’s nowhere near enough. I used my own wood glue. Also, pay attention to the dimensions, it is smaller than how it looks in the pictures. I’m glad they supplied a small number of extra parts because one of the barrel locks disintegrated with very little pressure. If you’re not handy with a screwdriver or furniture assembly, don’t even bother.

These end tables are very nice looking and sturdy built. The directions were very easy to follow and all the pieces available. Packaging protected the product well

This is actually my second OKD product, and I am happy with it, as I was with the first. Where MDF furniture is concerned, it can really be hit or miss, but OKD seems to have learned how to do it well in that the pieces are quite dense and substantial, not flimsy, and the hardware is such that once the product is assembled, it is extremely sturdy. They also include various small touches that enhance the sturdiness of the finished piece. And, the finishes look more expensive than they are. The pieces take longer to assemble than some furniture, but that is because they are thoughtfully designed. I’ve had no problems with misalignments on either piece. As soon as this was completed, it became an essential and appreciated useful piece. It’s great to be able to use my electronics and also have them plugged in and charging as I sit on the couch. The piece has two 3-prong outlets and two USB plugs, so can accommodate several items. I have come to trust the OKD brand for offering quality, sturdy MDF furniture.

At first I was a bit worried that it would be of lesser quality, but after I started to build, I realized that the quality id very good, even though it's compressed wood with a printet finish. It looks super real and all the pieces fit very well. I comes with very detailed instructions, an allen wrench and even some wood glue for the wood stubs. Very happy with the finished result. I will try to post a picture soon. I'm expecting a coffe table as well, very excited to see how it turns out.
