Better than hand towels
I was previously using folded hand towels on my desk to protect my forearms and elbows from compression sores. I like to lean on my desk as I work. This elbow pad is a far better solution. I lay out two of them, one on top of the other. It is long/wide enough to protect both forearms and elbows. It is soft and comfortable, and the non-slip grip on the bottom means it requires very little repositioning.

Exactly what I needed
Im so happy to have made this purchase! My elbows were hurting ever since i started working remotely due to Covid19, this is exactly what I needed to make myself comfortable in my home office.

Surprised it actually helps
So I have a very bad habit of leaning on my elbows when im sitting at my chair which eventually lead to some shoulder pains, and then a shooting pain down my elbows and wrists, then my fingers.... eventually I realized that I have developed an Ulnar entrapment. Vowing to not ending up looking like the Gollum at a youthful age, I have sought to not only correct this habit, but also focus on much needed ergonomics for my desk set up. After that, I focused on some products that might inhibit my subconscious self from repeating the bad posture habits, or at least discourage it. I have experimented with everything from seat cushions to armrests that articulate, just like one of them fancy monitor arms. Although helpful to some, none of those additions to my setup actually solved the glaring issue of shoulder and upper body discomfort. This is probably due to my decision to completely rid myself of arm rests in general, thus my traps and forearms would be constantly tight as there was no way to bear the weight of my arms on any surface which won't aggravate my ulnar nerve. After a few months, I decided to give these a try. Which to me looked like an oversized keyboard wrist rest. Except for the fact that it just looked like someone cut out a portion of my blanket. I went in with a mentality of "eh it can't hurt to try", not really expecting it to help. And in all honesty, the reason why I'm writing this review in the first place is because I am quite amazed at the amount of benefits I am receiving from this simple, yet oh-so-soft arm rest. It's SOOO SIMPLE, but it helps! Having my arms extended forward while resting my elbows on this pad has also helped me to find a better seating position and much needed correction for my neck posture. It is awesome and I love it. I only wish that I have tried this first instead of wasting my money on all those other products...My only complaint is that the plush, while very soft and comfortable, does get rather hot... actually really hot because the heat radiates around the contact of your skin. But the benefits far outweigh this minor gripe, and if I have to suffer with sweaty armpits to have this cushion under my elbows? Worth it!

Not an ergonomic wrist-pad for keyboard, but does my purpose well.
I purchased this more to use to protect my forearms when I am playing games with a controller at my desk (though I enjoy PC gaming, I tend to use controller moreso than keyboard when available.) When using controller, I'm often leaning forward into the desk, pressing my forearms into the edge causing those "pressure lines" after a bit, which gets quite uncomfortable (and painful, depending on how long I held that position.)I bought a regular keyboard wrist gel pad, but the bottom of it was like a slick rubber that stands in place while pressured from above (standard when using as intended) but trying to position it over the corner of the desk just made it slide everywhere. I also purchased "Jelbows" as well (on Amazon) however I found that after using them for a bit, I just went back unconsciously to the "forearms in desk" position rather than trying to position my elbows on them during play. So, seeing these over the holidays, figured I'd take a risk. And these are what I needed. Top is soft (it's not very thick, but enough cushion to be comfortable) and the bottom is like those rubber grip pads you cut out in sheets to keep things from slipping (like shelves, candles, etc). With it's size and flexibility, I can keep some on top of the desk, and "wrap" the bottom half around the edge of the desk, and use my arm to keep it there. Has worked fine. It will NOT adhere like glue/tape, so if you want to protect like say a desk corner or something, you'll need to tape or adhere it with some sort of material.Overall, recommend if you're looking for something to kind of cushion a part of your desk, but I doubt it would work "ergonomically" as like a keyboard wrist support. For my purpose though, it's working great.Hope that helps.

How did I ever live without this?!?
I don't mean to be overly dramatic here but this simple little thing is going to be lifechanging for me! It is super soft and even though I've only been using it for a short time I cannot believe I waited so long to search for a product like this. Since the pandemic started I've been working primarily at home, sitting at my dining room table. My elbows and forearms hit the edge of the table which can be fatiguing, and after I put down a plastic desk pad to protect the surface I found my skin slightly sticking to the surface. This cushy pad is AWESOME! My arms feel so much better. My only complaint would be that the pad is longer than it needs to be. It covers so much of my work surface that now I don't have a firm surface to write on within easy reach. I'll happily adapt though since I am SOOOO happy with my cushy arm wrest. I can't speak to the longevity of this product but I'm going to tuck the second one from the package away for future use. This would have been a bargain at half the price!!
