An unforgettable classic
I am happy that I got this masterpiece at the right time and at a good price. Both the horse and the batman are well detailed. If feels like they have jumped right out of Frank Miller's fine work. I got the blue version becuse it looks more original and classic. Gift monster provided a very nice packaging ( the box was packed in three different cartons) assuring everything was shipped with extra protection. Please be careful as the cape is quite fragile while opening the box. Overall a must have and one of the greatest batman statues out there.

Beautiful sculpt, but flawed paintwork and misaligned cape.
I've been after this statue for months. I finally decided to buy it, but upon receiving it, I am a bit disappointed. The sculpt itself is fantastic, and really shows off a fully fashioned 3D representation of a very memorable moment in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns".Unfortunately, the paint job on the cape is terrible in that the paint flakes off with very little handling. There are a few places where tiny amounts have rubbed away, proving that a base coat and proper preparation before the final coat was applied were not done satisfactorily. Also, the plug that connects Batman's head and cape to his torso is too long, meaning that there is a gap of about 2mm between the cape and torso. I have sanded it down a little, but removal of the magnet in this plug will be necessary to sand enough away to make the cape fit flush to the body. this should not have passed quality control.The horse shows no apparent defects, but I have noticed a darker patch on either flank of the horse of paint that is visible when shining a torch onto it. Otherwise, there are no other faults.Problems aside, this is still a very affordable piece considering the size of the statue and the detail of the sculpt. Also the statue is quite heavy. Even pvc statues of this size can cost twice the amount that this one cost. Still, there should have been much better inspection of it before it was passed as fit for sale. Customers should not have to fix errors caused in manufacturing...

Statue of epic proportion!
For years I wanted this statue, and it's finaly mine! Arguably Batman's most epic moment captured perfectly in one of the coolest statues out there!Pictures do not do justice, it's more beautiful alive..A must have for all, especialy Frank Miller's Batman fans!

Fantastic Beast of a piece for the serious collector... and at a very good price too. These are selling elsewhere for over £300 secondary market prices....very impressive! Detail is superb and a must for any fans of the Dark Knight Returns!

Bought as a present. It's a nice piece, didn't give 5 stars as the tail of the horse does not fit as well as it should and is only held by one small magnet. It does not touch the base of the statue.
