Easy to install,, a solid product…..

purchased to replace my black lines with red and decided I'd not mess with just cutting with utility knife. Upon using the blade came out, but I just needed to loosen the very tiny set screws and pinch the blade to hold it secure.

Brilliant tool for cutting brake hose and installing barb. I could use this tool all day.

This worked great for adjusting my brake hoses. Perfect tool and It was nice that it came with extra hose.

A great product that makes life easier

I like how small they have made this item, it's something you can take with you with no issues at all. I am seeing a lot of ingenuity in bike accessories and this is clearly one of them. that is high up on the list. It is built very solid, everything about it is solid and precise. That is what you get when you use quality materials with a good design. It has made the act of working on hydraulic brake lines not so much of a hassle, it's now quite easy. This item is now part of a traveling tool bag that I made, so when I go someplace to ride for the weekend, I have no issues if something comes up when I am 5 hours from home, cause I now have a compact versions of the bigger tool(s) and that makes this item highly recommended by me.

This is a pretty good value. It comes with the tool, some hydraulic hose and a few different barbs and olives.I have a couple other cable cutter/ barb press tools and this one is ok, but probably not the bet one I own. The hose clamp feature is an interesting design, but I’m not sure how well it’ll hold onto the hose if there’s mineral oil on it.Overall this seems like a decent kit and comes with a lot for the money. It’s yet to be seen how well it holds up long term.
