Red Riding Hood (My First Reading Books) Hardcover – 29 Feb. 2012

Would give this about a *2.5.Bright and colourful illustrations; the author has supplemented the tale with a 'comprehension' type question on each page, which the parent can use or not ("What is the wolf doing whilst Little red Riding hood is picking flowers?" etc) Also at the end is a maze to Grandmother's house and a 'try writing these words' exercise.The ending isn't the grisly one some versions have: the woodcutter comes in with his axe and scares the wolf away.But somehow for me it wasn't a particularly memorable version.
