2017 release, the eighth studio album from melodic hardcore band Rise Against. Includes the single "The Violence." The lyrics in Wolves follow the band's usual theme, being politically based, however this time around the band tackles the 2016 presidential election. Songs like "How Many Walls", "Welcome to the Breakdown" and the title track oppose the views of Donald Trump (just as they did George W. Bush during his time in office) since the band members are supporters of Democratic party, while tracks like "House on Fire" and "Politics of Love" are more personal, however retain some political leanings. Vocalist Tim McIlrath started in an interview with The Shrine Auditorium: "Wolves isn't about creating a safe space, it's about creating a space that's dangerous for injustice".

Vinyl includes MP3 download code which has expired
The album is pretty good, but I knew that before buying it. However, it promotes the inclusion of a download code on the shrink wrap, failing to point out that the code has an expiry date (7/28/18).

Solid Rise Against album
I personally really like the album. I think it's catchy and has some good riffs and choruses, and having seen them play a few of these songs live 2 months ago I was more than looking forward to buying it. I get that some people aren't a huge fan, but I think this is because Rise Against now have so many albums out over a long career it depends which era/album is your favourite to whether this is for them. For me, it was definitely worth getting to add to my growing Rise Against collection

Doesn't take any risks.
It's just more Rise Against. If you liked Endgame and The Black Market, you'll probably have an okay time with this. But after so many albums doing basically the same thing, you may tire of it after a few listens.

Great album. Probably not as good as the black market, but it has a few brilliant songs.
