Not as big as I thought it was going to be.

Battered Box
I can't comment about the quality of the toy because it won't be opened and played with until Christmas Day. But I am disappointed that the box is so beaten up and damaged. It was also open. It wasn't cheap, but because of the state of the packaging, it looks like a second-hand gift!

Educational, encourages writing and adding up money, but more importantly just really fun
This is brilliant. My children have loved this and their friends all love playing with it too.It is quite expensive but you get a lot. There is a pad of fishing licence applications, a pad of driving licence application and a pad of passport applications. They have all been filled in long since in our set because it has been so well played with. The board folds out into a little desk with a window and a counter. There is a clock and a board you can write notices on and exchange rates. There is an open and closed sign, a drawstring postbag, a collection of little parcels, envelopes, postcards, adhesive stamps. There are money notes and coins, in sterling, as well as American dollars and Euros. There is a little rubber stamp for stamping the forms and a dry wipe pen included. It is a brilliant toy. Educational, encourages writing and adding up money, but more importantly just really fun. My kids love it. I wish I'd had a toy like this when I was little.

Excellent toy
we gave this to our 3 year old and she loves it. She's been role playing with her 8 year old sister who enjoys is just as much. It arrived on time and was well packaged. It's sturdy and looks like it will last. Folding flat for storage is a big plus. Only three small downsides - 1) one of the hands of the toy clock snapped off easily and we can't fix it; 2) whilst there's a pouch to store the stationary provided we found it quite difficult for our daughter to reach in and grab what she wanted. We went out and bought small plastic storage drawers (like the ones used to store nails, screws etc) for her to keep her stamps and money etc in and 3) I was a little disappointed with the small amount of stamps etc provided. Overall though this is a lovely toy and I would recommend.

It has to be sturdy it's stood up to one year of use.
It keeps one robust grandchild happy for hours and regularly travels between her home and ours so that should answer the value for money and sturdiness/durability factors as well as it's entertainment value for a 5/6 year olds play needs.

Fantastic little play set
Fantastic little play set. My 4 year old daughter loves playing with it. Lots of interesting elements to play with which hark back to the days before emails and online purchasing. All folds away nicely with all the bits and pieces going into a large pocket inside the fold out post office stand.Nice addition of the wipe off pen too as this makes some of the pieces like the parcels and postcards reusable, although there is a tendency for the pen to come off on my daughters hands.

Fantastic
We bought this for our 5yo daughter for Christmas as she loves writing and role play and it has been such a hit! There is so much scope for role play scenarios, parcels to post, letters to stamp and frank; fishing, passport and driving licence applications; tax discs; foreign and UK currency; note paper and envelopes to write on and savings forms to complete and more.I have been pleased that there are lots of consumables and wipe clean items so they can be used without fear of them running out, which has allowed more freedom of play and will ensure longevity of the item. It's great that it folds flat too, so storage and transport is easy though it's been hard to get our daughter to put it away since she got it!

Great toy but lacks storage
Lovely role play product but there’s not anywhere to store a lot of the stuff when in play. I.e. the coins don’t have a drawer or anything so we ended up using a Tupperware pot.
