I do a lot of trail running in Texas and use this tape to protect my knees and elbows for the occasional falls along the way. Even in the heat of the summer, it has great adhesion. It's also very durable and has saved me from countless cuts and scrapes. I'm past my football playing age, but I'm sure it would be fantastic for that as well. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my daughter to use, she plays many sports, field hockey, soccer, always getting scrapes, cuts and bruises. This tape has eliminated that, it stays on perfectly and moves with you. It sticks AGGRESSIVELY but doesn't make my skin break out. Maybe it's the adhesive or the breathability of the fabric, i don't know. but it clung on for 3 hours outside, including drills in the dirt crawling under wire. protects from abrasion, prevents cuts from rough patches, and overall keeps my skin on my body instead of torn up on the ground.I'll keep testing, but after the first 3 uses this has been game-changing for me

Shield turf tape is the best turf tape I have used so far. I play in a competitive ultimate frisbee league and have tried a few different turf tapes. Many lose their stick or are impossible to get off after leaving a residue. Shield provides a quilts stick that lasts an entire game +. Comes off relatively less painful than others if you have hairy arms.

Purchased this for my son to use for football. Turf fields cause him to get pretty severe turf burn near his elbows. After an hour of warming up it was already starting to come off. For the price you pay for this roll I'd expect it to stick. It is really flexible, just wish it'd stay on.
