The Ethernet Shield allows you to easily connect your Arduino or compatible device to the internet. This shield allows your device to send and receive data from anywhere with an internet connection. You can use it to do fun projects like control robots remotely from a website, Twitter or operate a bell or buzzer every time you get a new message. This shield opens up endless amounts of possibility by allowing you to connect your project to the internet. Setting it up is as simple as plugging the header pins from the shield into your Arduino. Just plug this module onto your Arduino board, connect it to your network with an RJ45 cable (not included) and follow a few simple instructions to start controlling your world through the internet.
