I bought this book for my 4-year old grandson who is starting a dance class and it is a wonderful book. We all love it because it has so much to learn about other countries and cultures through their dances. The photos showing costumes and people of all ages and genders, dancing all over the world, are really splendid. A lot of work and research went into this book and they did a fine job.

Beautiful book which makes a wonderful gift for any dancer in your life. It is as educational as it is entertaining.

I bought this book for my little cousin for Christmas. She is 11 and a dancer and she absolutely loves it! It has a lot of history of dance in it and is presented in a fun way. The pictures are great as well. I would recommend this for under 12 years of age as it is more an informative picture book than anything else.

DK always does a great job and their dance books are not exception. Beautiful images and clear content. It includes dance history which is great for any young student of dance.

This is a gorgeous book I bought for a "little sister" (Big Brothers/Big Sisters) who loves to dance. The book includes all kinds of dances and is beautifully illustrated. A great find and buy.

My book arrived damaged. There was some residue on the cover and a tear on the book’s corner. I paid for a new book but the one I received seems used.

A lovely picture book of dance for a youngster who is interested in the subject. A handy reference and brought up to date with some modern artists.I found it interesting but lacking depth.

I bought this as a Christmas present for a young boy who loves dance. It was good value, well illustrated and informative. Very well presented.I'm sure he'll love it.
