Lionel Mickey's Holiday to Remember Electric O Gauge Model Train Set w/ Remote and Bluetooth Capability

This is the ultimate Christmas spirit for those Who love Disney and are looking for that special train to desplay at Christmas!The engine is an old style 4 4 0 with the big wide stack and a tender that hulls wood. This engine and Tender is similar to the actual Train at Disney World when you ride the rails there.It is light weight metal with very fine detail (this I would like to have seen be Die cast metal ). It has an LED head lamp and steal hand rails. It also will smoke when smoke fluid is added(included). There is a chuffing sound as the train is in motion.This set has LionChief remote control and Blue Tooth operation. The remote has forward,reverse, horn and Bell. It also has announcements which bring Mickey to life through a Christmas carol favorite "Deck The Halls".There is a very nice scenic Box Car and a gondola with Mickey chasing Minny mouse with presents in hand.The caboose is also nicely detailed but one disappointment is that it is not lighted.It comes with plenty of track to put this set around the Christmas tree.And also comes with a Plug Expand Play track that is a plus to add an accessory with that feature.There is a FastTrack terminal section that is used to plug the power pack to operate the remote.It dose not come with a transformer but there is no need for one.It can be run with a transformer for those that may have a set that is powered that way.As a Lionel Train enthusiast, this Train Set is top notch for the price on Amazon.(bought used like new and the set and packaging was perfect)I have several Lionel train Layouts and the Detail on this Disney set is Very Good!Kids and adults will love this Christmas Train all Christmas long and after too !

I played with Lionel trains when I was very young and was always impressed. I wanted a train to replace the...uh, "low quality", plastic, battery operated "thing" I bought several years ago. I got that one just to have something to bring out at Christmas time so my daughter would get excited. This year, I decided, since my daughter is nearly 18, I could get a "real" train and truly impress her. So I got the Lionel Mickey's Holiday because she also REALLY likes Mikey (we spent several days in Disneyland when she was 12). She scoffed at first, saying it was for "me"....well, yeah. So I'm 65 and purchased my first Lionel. The bottom line is, I don't review much. But this train is great! You have to be patient with the smoke, but it will come out if you just follow the directions. This is an impressive train! And yeah...I played with it a lot when she wasn't around! Next year, more track and build the layout with the "O" slot cars I also got...for "us". The train isn't inexpensive, but only because it's Lionel did I justify the price. High quality.

The media could not be loaded.  We bought this to entertain our train loving grandsons who are 2 and 4. I accidentally dropped one of the cars when I opened the box. To my great joy, the wheels popped right back into place and nothing was broken. The engine and coal car are VERY HEAVY metal and the rest of the cars are plastic. This is my first electric train set, so I was a bit nervous. It was EASY to assemble and easy to use. I normally read all the directions first, but the kids were in such a hurry that we just put it together and turned it on and it worked! Our 4 year old grandson could even operate the remote by himself. When he put it on the fastest mode, the train still stayed on the track! The train sounds are all wonderfully realistic and Mickey and Minnie going around the presents on the gondola car were a wonderful surprise to our 2 year old grandson. The smoke is pungent in odor, but that's the way we wanted it. We eventually turned off the sounds and just enjoyed watching our grandson guiding it along the tracks both in forward motion and in reverse all by himself! BONUS: It fits nicely back into its sturdy box for storage for next Christmas!

This is my first train set and have been waiting to purchase this for several years at the right price. I purchased through Amazon Warehouse after Xmas in "Used - Like New" conditon for half of the retail price. The box was not even opened. The train and all parts were brand new and in great condition.The train paired to the remote and to my phone through bluetooth easily. Tested all the functions for several days and everything seemed to work perfectly. The sounds and smoke are great effects and add to the Xmas feeling of the whole set. The whole train set seems very well made especially the locamotive, very heavy and still detailed.I am so happy with this set and I can't wait until next Xmas. Now I'm trying to collect more track on the cheap during the year.

This is a very nice Christmas train. We love the ease of the new trains...no transformer and fighting with wires to hook up. This has one little plug that plugs into the track piece and you're ready to go. Runs smooth, Everything works (Minnie and Mickey moving around the car, smoke, sounds.) Very happy with it.

The caboose isn’t light on the inside. That was a disappointment. The smoke from the engine doesn’t always work. It is a fun train and have enjoyed it a lot. My grand children really enjoy the train.

I like the wireless remote and Lionel app! The locomotive and cars are great looking and the sounds and music make it a great addition to our Christmas Tree

This train was more than we were looking for. The kids loved it. It perfectly worked under the tree.
