Kuhn Rikon27669 Fast Wrap/Cling Film and Aluminium Foil Dispenser/Cutter, Red

Always bought cash & carry rolls of clingfilm which for £14 comes with a cheap plastic dispenser which lasts about 2 rolls of 150m, however, you do need to repair the thing to stop the hinge from falling apart.This is a much better quality piece of equipment which takes the £6.80 refills perfectly (comes with 2 different roll inner sizes) and stops all the snarl ups usually associated with the cheaper units.All in all a great it of kit.

The media could not be loaded. Fit the foil and the cling film. There two pair for 30m and for 50m. Performance good. Ease to cutting and ease to use. Value for money... recommend to everyone. There is a lock at the front. Glad i purchased two

At last, no waste. I don't seem to be able to pull the cling film with one hand - I have to hold the red container and pull the film out with the other hand, otherwise the container just moves as well. It could do with little suction pads on the bottom to keep it still - hence 4 stars. However, that said, it's still a great device and cuts the cling film cleanly every time. Fix the design suggestion and it'll be 10 stars.

This is a good quality product with a locking mechanism to keep the lid closed and the foil/film tight inside. Mot sure it will take up to 35cm but film is fairly easy to cut down to size if required.

This item Doesn’t work with British clingfilm. It is too small to accommodate even our smallest clingfilm from our supermarkets. It’s rubbish.Looks great in the advertising, but doesn’t do the practicalities it is meant to do.Disappointed. It will be going back.

Looks great and sturdy. The installation process for the foil refill is fiddly. The catch on the front is impossible to close single-handedly but would probably work better if the unit were mounted inverted, under an eye-level cabinet. Unfortunately I can't do this as one of the rectangular suction pads has a distorted edge and will not maintain suction. Overall, the looks (and brand) suggest something far better than the product delivers!

Firstly, let me say that this little dispenser is far better than all the others I have had in the past, including the Wrapmaster 1000. It is probably alone in being the only dispenser which actually cuts cling film without any fuss or bother. Ironically, the rolls for the Wrapmaster 1000 fit it perfectly! It is small, takes up hardly any room on the worktop, and looks good. However, there are some important faults: Firstly, it is very difficult to source cling film of the required size where I live (and I don't live in the 'sticks'), most own-brand ones on offer in the big supermarkets near me being too small; secondly, the cutting blade protrudes in such a way so that I am always catching and cutting my fingers on it, particularly when moving the dispenser around - I know I should close it up before moving, but who can honestly say that they can remember, or be bothered, to do this every time? Thirdly, the end of the film doesn't lie in such a way as to be easy to find (as it did with the Wrapmaster). I'd recommend it, but only if you don't mind having to train yourself to avoid it's pitfalls.

Schon einige ausprobiert. Der Folienschneider von Kuhn Rikon ist perfekt. Ein ganz klares Daumen hoch! Die gezackten Klingen sind messerscharf und schneiden die Folie enorm gut.

Se coupe facilement

Muy buen producto, yo lo uso para papel de aluminio de medida estándar que venden en supermercados, incluido el rollo grueso de 30 metros, no uso plásticos así que no sé como irá con film, aunque creo que no habrá ningún problema. Corta bien y es muy estable gracias a las patas. Trae dos enganches extras de repuesto. Encantado con la compra.

haben sehr lange nach einem guten Folienschneider gesucht, dieser Typ hier ist genial; es ist jedesmal eine Freude mit dem Ding zu schneiden, durch die Saugnapf-Füße guter Halt auf dem Tisch, aufgemacht, Folie abgewickelt und sauberer Schnitt !! Noch nie so gutes Gerät gehabt und wir haben einige ausprobiert !! Leider gabs das Teil nur noch in Rot, aber das machts nichts, entscheidend ist die Funktion !

Produit costaud mais un peu lourd et qui pourrait être simplifié pour tirer le film et le couper.
