The best bladder control pads.
I have tried several kinds of pads. Some leaked, some smelled, nothing contained urine for me. But I have been using Prevail for a couple of weeks with no problems. I take Lasix and have a lot of sudden urges, even if I don't make it to the bathroom, these don't overflow. Quite comfortable, too.

Far above the rest
I bought these one time when the Almost Brand I used was out of stock. I'm sure glad I did. The absorbency is fast and that makes all the difference! I can't figure out how a brand can advertise (brag) about liquids being absorbed in only 20 seconds. I mean, where is the liquid going to go for the first 20 seconds (the answer is down your leg, onto your clothes, etc) These don't do that.

Sew Bad It's Good recommends these for dog Belly Bands - diapers
I use these in my dog belly bands (dog diapers) and recommend them to all my customers. They look and work exactly the same as poise and I like them better than Tena brand. Way better than a maxi pad. I was using level 4s until the recent design change making them less wide and now use level 5s. Enthusiastically recommend!

I'll never buy Poise or Always again
I used Poise bladder protection pads for a long time, then I only could find Always bladder protection pads stocked in the local stores so I reluctantly used them. Earlier this year I couldn't find either so I looked to see if I could purchase on Amazon. I saw Prevail offered and decided to give them a try and I'm so glad I did. The plastic backing on both Poise pads and Always pads have tendency to stick to my under pants even if my bladder did not leak so when I removed the pad, some of the plastic backing tore away from the pad and remained on my panty. Very annoying! I did mention this to Kimberly-Clark and they advised "the adhesive can be loosened with a household spot remover, or you might try a light application of vegetable oil." ... the garment should be laundered thoroughly."They did send me a prepaid visa card for $15 for my troubles; but I was not satisfied. The plastic backing on Prevail pads never stick to my under pants and they don't tear when I remove them. Not sure why Poise and Always consistently have this problem; but I'll never buy either of them ever again.

they work great
as an unfortunate side effect of having borne three children, and now having a trach to breathe from due to a botched surgery, my bladder cannot withstand the pressures of the constant coughing that is unfortunately part of having a trach. When suctioning out my trach, it produces violent coughing. These pads are necessary during this. They are absorbent more than pads for your period and can withstand safely much more flow or "accident" of stress incontinence than i expected. Im not pleased that i need these at a young age, but am pleased they work so well. I trust that there will be no leakage and i am safe to make it through a work day with no embarrasment.

Don't Write Many Reviews But . . .
There was only one review of this item and I felt it was unfair so I thought I would add my two cents. I have to wear a pad 24/7 due to having a neurogenic bladder from multiple sclerosis. I have developed an allergy to latex and every pad I tried prior to Prevail caused me much discomfort. The Prevail pads don't have latex and they are don't bunch up. I would rather not have to wear them but since I do, I am glad I have found these.

I have found my pad.
These are so soft and comfortable. I was using another brand and it was so rough .I hardly know that these are on.Very ,very absorbant.I will never go back to another brand as long as these are available.

Doesn't Protect Clothing
I thought these would be great but the bladder empties and runs right through and around it. I don't know why we have to buy so many packages of these when we just want to try out the product. And frequently the cost of returning unopened packages of this type or product is on you. You pay postage. So you just end up tossing them in the trash. It's too bad.

Short width for male
I am a regular user of "Prevail daily male guards" (the blue colored cover). The present one has shorter width and not good for male since the outlet can slip outside the pads and wet the underwear. I do not recommend this for male users
