In 2 1/2 months each of my canes has penetrated the tip as shown, there is no washer to spread the load as is normal in other makes and the thin-walled tubing just cuts right through.I was skeptical about these, seemed too cheap compared to the branded ones. But now I understand why.

They are very good and give my canes a feel that they will not slip out from under me the have a great gripping feel I really like them

My husband had to start using a cane after falling off our ramp in a rain storm. It took him less than a week to wear the cane tip out to the point the metal was showing. He is just as rough on shoes. Twenty five years of marriage and I still do not know how he does it. I came on here to buy him new cane tips and purchased these. He has only had to use in the past two months! I am impressed!

*Do Not get or use!!!Urgent- Read ALL:* VERY DANGEROUS -Brand new tip after just 6 days using split wide open pushing me sideways, read:At first I liked how these were to walk with on my cane. I felt smoother to walk more naturally with.UNTiL…Suddenly my cane went oddly away on it’s own, twisting me crookedly away. I had no idea what was happening as I had not stepped in a hole, on a crack, a rock. I was walking in my hallway after coming in from outside.And I’m so glad it didn’t happen while I was outside too or I’d have been very horribly injured. And who knows what else. I was fortunate to be inside, but not fortunate that it happened. I grabbed a doorknob, pushed on it hard to hold myself back from falling down and hitting my head on the floor. After stopping. Shakily I stood up slowly, checked hurting, bruised self. I still hadn’t let go of my cane. I pulled it over and grabbed jt with my other hand as I leaned against the door. The new cane tip had just gone and ripped off!!! Leaving the bottom of the cane’s metal edges showing. Only the top piece of the cane tip still circling above the metal edges. Nothing covering the opening metal edges of the cane!! Unbelievable. I really could have been injured or much worse. I threw the other tips in the garbage. So angry how it all could have been really worse. It was really frightening when it happened, shocking!!!

I got a fancy walking stick and did not want to destroy the tip or damage my floors so I ordered these also. They are perfect !!!! Fits great, does not take away from the design of your walking stick, great value, and a safety must!
