Soild part for price and it works
I installed this in my wifes 2013 camry steering column. looks just like the oem and fit good during install. its been a few weeks and it is still working good. no more clanking noise coming from the dash. it took 3 hours to remove and re install every thing but worth it to get rid of that noise. Just hope this parts lasts another 13 years like the oem. Durability, i dont know how long it will last but the fact its working like it should and this seller gives you 2 so if it fails in a few years and i still have the car i have another one to install. i am picky about using aftermarket parts but i would recommend this one for sure. the oem toyota sells is made in china as well....plastic and rubber felt good and you do have to put this part together....just snaps together but only takes 2 seconds and put the star piece in the center hole....again worked great just durability but i think will be fine....if not i will update review

No issues!
My mechanic sent me this link to buy for my car which was making a lot of rocking sound in the steering column. They came on time, great value for money. I don’t know if it was an easy set up but it was the correct part and it fits perfectly. No more knocking from my steering column.

A Tiny Plastic Savior and a Four-Hour Descent into Madness
Dateline: A Driveway, Under the Harsh Glare of a Work Light, Saturday Night. There is a certain kind of sound a car can make that signals a deep, spiritual sickness. Not a squeal or a hiss, but a loose, rattling clunk that seems to come from the very soul of the machine. My Toyota Venza had developed such a sickness. Every bump in the road was accompanied by a maddening clatter from the steering column, a sound that made you question the integrity of every bolt holding the whole contraption together. The diagnosis: a tiny, disintegrated piece of rubber deep within the electronic steering unit. The cure, it turns out, is not some expensive, complex piece of machinery. No. The cure is a tiny, almost comical little star-shaped piece of plastic. A flexible coupler that costs less than a greasy meal at a truck stop. It arrived in a small plastic baggie, along with a spare—a merciful and deeply appreciated gesture from a seller who clearly knows the kind of high-stakes, high-frustration surgery you are about to perform.Because let's be clear: the part is a five-star hero. The job is a one-star descent into a special kind of mechanical hell, courtesy of the engineers at Toyota. What followed was a four-hour, bare-knuckle brawl with my own car in the driveway. A savage journey into a dark world of socket wrenches, universal joints, and bolts tightened by angry gods in places the human hand was never meant to reach. You are upside down in the footwell, you are contorting your body into shapes that would make a yoga master weep, all to disassemble the steering rack and get to the one, tiny, disintegrated piece of rubber that is the source of all this madness. Finally, you get there. You clean out the black dust of the old, failed part. You take the new, pristine plastic savior, anoint it with a healthy glob of extra grease for good luck and long life, and you seat it in its new home. Then begins the long, arduous process of putting the whole damn thing back together. But the moment of truth… my god, the moment of truth is worth it all. You turn the key, you back out of the driveway, and you aim for the first bump in the road. And there is only… silence. The clunk is gone. Vanquished. The steering is tight, responsive, and blessedly, beautifully quiet. This little piece of plastic is an absolute lifesaver. It is a cheap, perfect solution to a problem that sounds terrifyingly complex and expensive. The part itself is a five-star champion. Just know what you're getting yourself into before you start the journey. It is a dark and arduous path, but at the end of it lies the profound, soul-deep satisfaction of a battle hard-won.

Exact fit
This fixed my clunking sound coming from my steering while going slow over bumps in my 2016 Camry. Only took 3 1/2 hours but she is quiet like new. You will need a 12mm deep socket for the two rear steering column mounting nuts. The hardest part by far is reinstalling the steering assist motor back on the column, because the motor shaft keeps turning and misaligning. But patience and a few bad words got it all back together. The product itself is a perfect fit.

fixed my 2012 camry steering clunking noise
used it on my 2012 camry steering motor. It definitely works and comes with 2. I was very surprised at what the actual cause of the noise is and how cheap the part is. It took me 3 hours to do it and 1 of those hours was me trying to lift the steering column back in place by myself which is a horrible experienceFunctionality:works with my camryWhy did you pick this product vs others?:price
