Knit-N-Stable tape, 1 inch x 10 yard

Have been buying this product from this site for years...great product and buy 4 rolls at a time as unable to buy easily in the UK. It comes in the box as per the advert.I received 4 rolls today..in a clear bag with a poor quality printed piece of paper with product details. The rolls are wrapped in a cellophane band which is not easy to remove. The tape is def not in my opinion the same tape. The edges of the tape are quite "ragged" abd fluffy, look to me as if it this tape has been badly cut into long strips of poor quality interfacing.It also feels flimsy and poor qualityIn photo the tape under the packaking is the product I received today..the tape underneath is my usual pellon tape...if you zoom you should be able to see the differences. Im my opinion this is not the genuine product and will be seeking a refund.

Tape was too wide for neckine, so cut it lengthwise for a narrow strip with rotary cutter. I was amazed at the amount of fibres and dust in the air which caused a sinus alergic reaction. I will go back to using my lightweight fusible woven knit interfacing, when cut no dust or fibres. This tape works out quite expensive per top, 3 tops max if you do the neck, arm hole, sleeve hem and tee shirt hem. One metre of knit interfacing 60 inches wide would do 40 plus t shirts. I was trying to make less work for myself but backfired. So will spend 20 minutes cutting strips for knit tops for future makes.

Very disappointing - the last pack I bought a couple of years ago came in the brand’s box, and adhered perfectly, did the job. This one does not. It will not iron on properly. It came in a bag with a photocopy of the original label from the box, and has sewn joins in the tape (which the original did not) it is obviously a cheap copy. A great shame as I can’t find the proper stuff anywhere else.

I'd tried sewing with jersey waiting for the tape to arrive, but with mixed results. But then it came.....and what a revolution! This tape is absolutely brilliant! It's an inch wide but I found I could really have done with half inch, but I just use half the amount needed and cut it in two. No instructions on how to use tho. Needless to say, the first time I used it I had it the wrong way up and it melted onto my iron! It's super for stabilising necks, hems and sleeves before you machine them and it makes the garment look far more professional. I've just ordered two more packs, it's so good!

First time I have used this product which was bought on recommendations from here and demonstrations on YouTube. Worked really well to stabilise the sleeve ends and bottom of the jersey knit garment I was making while I worked. Easy to use just iron as stated on the packet. The webbing has some stretch in it so that the garment is not too rigid when finished. I found it so useful I have ordered more. An ideal little addition to your sewing basket.Product arrived earlier than expected. Thanks

Have used this before. So good at stabilizing knit fabric at neck edge, hems etc. Wish I'd ordered more as use a lot and takes a while to come from the States.

Great product for stabilising necklines, armholes etc.
