Do not buy
Style after spitting it for a while the handle broke off of it. It's not very easy to use at it's wears you out and after turning it for about 7 minutes it produced. No power. Definitely would not recommend never have gotten an actual use of it

Produces an inconsistent power output. You cannot crank and recharge a cell phone. It will not show up as a charging device. It's better to get a crank rechargeable battery pack from Amazon.

Great little charger
This device works exactly as advertised. Unless you've got enough electrical knowledge to upgrade it though, you may come away frustrated. No internal battery, no external voltage reading. It has a decent voltage regulator built in, but you need to turn the handle pretty quickly for it to stabilize at the target voltage. Overall definitely worth the money, but I will be adding a couple things to make it more useful. Can't complain at all for the price point. Worth it.

Works
Very first thing I ever bought on Amazon (this) never showed up. Years later I ordered again. It works. Not many purposes for this considering no internal battery. But it does work

Not for 12v
Not high enough gearing to charge a 12v battery. You'd have to spin it faster than your arm can go continuously.
