This is a premium quality product. The manufacture is first class. The barrel is made from a strong aluminium alloy metal which looks like it can take a great deal of pressure and wear and tear. It is superior to other manufacture's guns, which tend to be made of plastic. It has been specially designed to take the very flexible sausage/ foil packs. The sausage size it takes is 600 ml, but it can also double up as a normal cartridge gun taking conventional plastic sealant cartridges.At either end of the barrel are screw-on plastic nut fittings which (1) hold the nozzle and (2) connect the plunger assembly to the barrel. The screw threads are special minimal-screw, quick-connect, types, so screwing and unscrewing the nozzle cap and the main assembly is very quick and efficient. An excellent design feature. The strong metal plunger rod rotates, so that any clogging of the sealant being dispensed can be corrected. The plunger itself and its fittings are precision made, and sealant will not by-pass the plunger mechanism and squirm backwards. The trigger and release mechanism is strong and efficient, and easy to operate.Only one plastic nozzle is supplied, which is a pity and an oversight. Several more should have been included, since they cost virtually nothing. Used nozzles can be cleaned out, of course, but eventually they will fail, and it would have been good to have a spare on hand. Rigid plastic sealant cartridges are supplied with spare nozzles, but sausages are generally not, so acquiring spare nozzles will be an imperative.A simple leaflet is supplied, explaining how to assemble the gun and take it apart. It is basic but adequate.

I purchased it for my significant other, only to receive a slightly altered item than what was advertised. Possibly a more recent version. Uncertain. Hoping for the best.
