I've only had it a few days and I've already taken some near pictures. For the price, it's a great deal but it can't compete with more expensive ones. I'm going to keep it but I had hoped it would have been polished a little better. It does make for nifty photos - but the surface is slightly hazy. The edges of the ball and up looking frosted in photos.

He said he loved it and it was just right for what he needed.

I use this as a photography aid. The effects can be remarkable.
