The item was well made and looked durable.I particularly liked the larger diameter barrel than my existing spyhole because it presented a clearer image with less distortion.A fitting tip would be to drill a very small diameter pilot hole so you can drill the full sized hole from both sides. This avoids the messy breakthrough of the drill that splinters the wood and damages any finish.

This appears to be a standard size viewer that can adjust to the width of your door.The colour works well with brass door fittings and the sliding cover on the inside is stiff enough to hold firm (so it doesn't swing open). The only issue is that the fisheye lens isn't particularly clear - I've come across much better alternatives.Probably best to spend a bit more money on something with a better lens, but this is good value nonetheless.

Did not fit the existing corroded door viewer that we replaced by about 2mm. Enlarged the hole slightly and was good to go. Very good quality, attractive and great replacement.
