I recently bought an Alpha 58, which comes with a "standard" (read that as Sony) battery - but as there are times when you don't want to get caught out, I thought it wise to invest in a second battery. Horrified to learn that the "genuine article" was over £60, (which represents about 15% of the original purchase price of the whoLe camera), so I shopped around and found these little beauties for £14.49 for a PAIR!Bearing in mind that they were bought predominantly to be used as "standby" batteries, they charge well, and work well. As a bonus, they actually have a slightly higher storage capacity than the original.Would I leave them in the camera long term? Not sure as I would hate to find that they had leaked, but even Sony's warranty doesn't cover you for that eventuality with the OEM kit.At the equivalent price of £7.25 / battery, that represents about 20% of the cost of Sony's "genuine" part.No brainer . . .

Worth the price.
Bought as spares to make sure I had enough juice to get through a whole days shooting at a wedding. Lasted as long as my genuine Sony batteries and the cameras battery meter managed to read them with no problems. Unsure how long they'll keep going, but they certainly feel solid enough. Same sort of weight as the genuine Sony batteries too, unlike some which are incredibly light and feel like an empty plastic case.If they hold up ok, I'll probably buy more, as they're certainly worth the price, especially when you consider that Sony ones are £60+ each.

lower capacity than expected
You get what you pay for with a lot of things, these batteries are no different. They have each been fully charged and drained in camera, both showed much lower capacity than expected, with one producing over 100 shots less than the average from my 4 year old Sony originals, the other around 60 fewer. Both have been fully recharged and 1 is currently in use and showing 46% after 140 shots...again far lower than the standard batteries and they have all been used, charged and drained many times so will have reduced capacity.Much cheaper than Originals, but much lower actual capacity.Think before you purchase...do you need emergency backup batteries? These will do the job, but consider paying more for your main workhorse batteries.

Charged OK on Sony Charger and good battery life.
I have tried charging these on my Sony charger and they charged just as the original battery. Charging light went out when fully charged.Have not used them yet so can't say how long they last, but on first impressions very pleasedUpdate: I have now used these batteries and they seem to have pretty much the same life as the original Sony battery. Very impressed.

Not as good as a Sony branded battery
My original Sony battery was losing charge quicker than it had done so chose these as a cheap alternative. I have only used them for a couple of weeks but so far the camera has had occasional problems starting up and recognising the batteries and when I used the camera for a few days in a row this week the new batteries lost charge quicker than the older original. Not that expensive so they will provide an emergency backup but I will be investing in a Sony original.

Good batteries
Bought theses for a mobile safari , with limited charging , charged them a week before we left , and showed 98% when put in cameras , seemed to last well using full frame dlsr and big autofocus lenses, would not hesitate to recommend, sold in packs of two , one did not accept a charge , emailed seller , and received a replacement within a few days

Awful product. Non existent service.
After one of the batteries turned out to be faulty I attempted to contact the seller. Alas no response. After 3 months and probably only 6 charges the other battery is now u/s. You live and you learn. Would not recommend at all. Stay clear.

These fit my Sony Alpha A58
Bought these as back up for my original Sony battery. So far they have taken a charge and they fit and the camera operates properly. I haven’t used them yet, so cannot comment on the life or longevity.
