PE Civil: Construction Sample Questions and Solutions Paperback – November 1, 2010

I started doing the practice problems that accompany the big reference book, but they are ridiculous. These questions are much closer to actual test questions. I basically took this sample test 2 times and that's all I did to pass the official test. Just brushed up on the stuff I got wrong on this practice test.

Good practice exam to give you a general idea but far from actual exam problems.

I used this book and the CERM and passed the PE my first time. Those were the only two books I studied and were the only two I took to the test!!

There were complete sections in the test this past Friday that were not even touched upon by the book. Perhaps this would be better if it was more than just one sample test with solutions. I would suggest 3 or 4 sample tests with solutions. I do recommend getting this as a study book, even take it into the test with you. However, don't make it your only study book.

Great practice for the exam. I saw a few of the same questions on the exam. Not as difficult as the exam was though

Helpful for preparation- a couple questions were on the actual exam!
