Easy to install and begins working almost right out of the box. Motion detection is sound; it isn’t tripped by moths or other flying insects passing by. The brightness is adequate, not great, but gives more than enough light to illuminate the area you need illuminated.

Two things I did not like about these lights:First, The remotes only work close up (about 15ft ir less) which defeats the purpose of having them because the motion sensor will turn the. On at that point.Second, you're stuck with the length of the cable, whether you like it or not. Other lights like this have a short cable coming out of the light fixture and a short cable from the solar panel that connect together if you mount them together, but you can use the long cable between the two if you wish to mount the light in one place and the solar panel further away. With these lights, even if you mount the solar panel onto the light or even right above or beside it. Your stuck with the messy look of the full 16 foot length of cable rolled up that you have to hang on or near the light.Other than that, this light is a great value fir the money. It works well and is bright. Won't light up a huge area, but probably adequate for most needs.

I ran one in side of my storage shed 12 x 12 above the door inside and the other on the outside above the door the one inside it lights it up great at night when I have to go in to get a tool if needed. With the 3 Adjustable Modes I both on the Dim light mode: Dim light with no motion, 100% brightness when motion is detected, and the one that is not mounted in the shed I can see it stays lit from dusk to dawn. Theses are great for where electric is not available.
