NERF Dungeons & Dragons Holga's Greataxe, Foam Head, Dungeons & Dragons, D&D Play Toys, Ages 8 & Up

We've had this almost a year now, it's sturdy and I've been hit quite a lot. Much harder than the sword of the same set though, still appropriate to hit a dad with, but my son uses the sword to hit his little brother.

My boys loves playing pretend with this. It’s sturdy but not heavy and doesn’t scratch furnitures around the house.

Great for kids . Very realistic and not harmful.

Durable. Well built. Doesn't hurt to get smashed in the face.

The axe head is quite good, even better quality than the first series of Nerf blades from over a decade ago. However, compared to said weapons, this one has a hard plastic handle; for some reason, it feels that it would be easier to break than the old style of hard-flex core, foam-covered handles. Also, an errant swing can result in a harder bonk from the handle than anyone is ready for.If the handle does break, or ends up holding up really well, then I'll update to let everyone know how it performs.

I got this one and the sword for my son for Christmas. It's built a lot sturdier than the sword I got, and looks really cool. Now he and I have sword vs axe fights every night before bed. I've probably used this thing to battle and behead everyone in my house so far. We even slew the dog dragon!

I bought the sword as well from nerf and my two little one chase me around while I used my great sword to defend myself

Both my husband and son have been having fun running around pretending they're battling monsters (or dragons or space aliens). Quite sturdy and well-made.

The blade is foam and a bit bendy but not bad I love it.

My son loves this toy, but it has a lot of firm contact points so if he's attacking you you can get a stinger if you're not paying attention. Most other Nerf weapons are all soft contact points this one has hard plastic parts that can hurt your opponent
