Bends perfectly, no crimping
Once you’ve set this up, done your measurements etc, the tool itself takes seconds and little force to use.One of those tools that will often always work perfectly if your prep work is on point

Good value
Fit for purpose and good value.Requires a lot of care to achieve accurate bends, but that's probably the same with most such tools.

Excellent if greased
It took 20mins to undo the bolt and grease up the interfaces. Once this was done they work smoothly. Perfect results first time. However without doing this they are so stiff they’re almost unusable.

Good solid tool, versatile for different pipe widths too!
You will not need a huge amount of strength to operate this tool. It is not a toy however and does require respect and a little practise at first. There are some sharp edges and obviously it can generate a lot of force when the levers are compressed. After a few goes though I found it very handy and easy to use. There are two tracks for different sized pipe diameters, each capable of handling a range. I used a 1.6cm width which was too large for the 1.5cm track but fit fine into the larger track. For basic jobs with copper / aluminium I recommend this tool. I saw no creasing or crumpling in the bends I made, which were smooth - although I didn't try any bends above about 60 degrees so I can't vouch for that. Perfect for my needs though.

Heavy Duty, Light on the Pocket.
I was looking for a value-for-money pipe bender for some DIY plumbing. This seemed to fit the bill and I haven’t been disappointed. It does the job perfectly and I haven’t found any issues with bolts being too tight, as was mentioned in other reviews. Heavy duty tool that’s light on the pocket. I’d recommend it.

Looks identical to similar items costing a lot more
My only previous experience of bending pipes was based on inserting pipe springs, but I quickly gave up with this method after several unsuccessful attempts. Having found this Oypla product at such a reasonable price, I can only wonder why I hadn't bought one sooner. It was also worth checking out a few on-line videos and investing in a length of 15mm pipe with which to practice in the tool's usage. From personal experience, I can now recommend stripping the tool before using it and greasing the roller sleeves and main pivot fulcrum bolt and in use, to develop a smooth constant pressure on the actuator arms if the user wishes to avoid inner curve wrinkles.
