Slain - Back from Hell

Just sarted playing this as i was on the fence about buying after mixed reviews, il explain what happened with the game, basically it was first released as SLAIN & had a few bugs & was a bit of a mess, so reviews at that time may get mixed up with reviews for the new re-reeleased version which is now SLAIN Back from Hell, the last bit in the title was a joke from the devs referring to the previous messed up game, as someone else said the game deserves a new review as they went back to it & corrected everything that was wrong with it & it feels like a different game, i can only comment on this fixed version which is brilliant & takes me back to my old Skool 2d gaming roots, firstly, this game is rock hard,but fair, your basically in the bowels of Hell fighting not just tricky enemies but deadly traps too, everything is out to kill you as you make your way through the levels, to give an idea of how hard this game is i got an achievement on PS4 as i died 100 times 🤣 & i consider myself an experienced gamer of 30+ yrs so not one for the kids plus the theme is blood & gore, music,im not a heavy metal fan but it suits the game perfectly, im loving it, yes the graphics are old & jaggy compared to the photo realism of todays games but it don't matter as it's all about the gameplay, tbh i love the old style graphics so if your after a challenge & love old Sko0L gaming it's a must ☆☆☆☆☆
