SOFT99Tire Black Wax 170g

I love this tire wax and recommend it, especially if you're like me and prefer a more satin look to your tires. I had always wanted to try this product and finally had a reason to when the body shop got overspray on my new tires. The shop had put a tire shine on them to hide the paint and they looked okay for a week but the overspray started showing through a week later. Since tire shine wasn't working, I thought maybe this wax might cover it up...and it sure did! After application, my tires looked brand new again. I used a cheap medium detailing brush to apply the wax instead of the included applicator. Easy application, no mess. As a test, I got a little bit on the plastic wheel covers just to see what it would do and it didn't stain; wiped off easily even after letting it sit for a while. The wax is also very durable. By week 2 the tires still looked as good as day one and are still going strong. Uniform finish. The wax also adds a hydrophobic quality to the rubber which makes it easy to keep them clean. I have not noticed the tires attracting dust or dirt either. They seriously always look clean, it's amazing. Excellent product!

I bought this because I saw a professional detailer using it, and I don’t really like the high gloss shine you get from most tire dressings. Using this does take more timeAnd effort than the spray on dressings. Think of polishing a pair of shoes. Wipe the wax on, wait a few minutes, then buff it out. Since I have all terrain tires on my truck it made getting in between all the sidewall lugs very difficult, and buffing it out was a nightmare. The shine was great however. It would be much better suited for cars with smooth sidewalk. So i recommend this product if you like a satin shine and don’t have knobby tires

First time using a tire wax/dressing that’s not in spray form. I’m really happy with the end results & look (see pics); only time will tell in terms of the longevity etc.Everything has its differences & pro/cons… this solid tire wax does take more time to apply. After cleaning the tires, you apply the wax with the included sponge, allow 10mins or so to set, & then buff the tires with a microfiber towel.Spray tire dressings are much faster in comparison. After cleaning your tires, just spray it on a microfiber towel or sponge applicator, wipe the tires & let it set.If the longevity of this solid wax is significantly better than sprays, then I’d say it’s worth it. To each their own. I’ve used other Soft99 products before & have been happy with them.
